Here I am 2 years late to the party but I’m just happy to have found this channel. Beautiful hot rods !! I’m enjoying the shoeboxes especially I was just lucky enough to have bought one !!
Beautiful array of kustoms. I love it. I own a 64 Buick Skylark and am trying a way to custom it. The 50,s cars are more suitable for custom than the 60,s. Thanks for your time and the show. JL.
I remember, after seeing all the customs (50s) in the magazines, being a little disappointed, when, in the 60s, to build a custom, it became a Candy Apple paint job, and chrome everything, taking the wheels off, to show off the chrome,on acres of cotton fluff. Thank goodness for Ed Roth, Bill Cushenberry, and Gene Winfield, and their imaginations! I am building a road race inspired '68 AMC Javelin custom, but every time I walk into the shop, where I'm building it, I have to walk past a stock, 56 Merc Hardtop, that I've tried to talk the owner into letting me customize it for him. I have more ideas for it, than the Javelin. Oh, well. 😎👍
What's up Mike, this is Danny. Thanks for videoing all those cool customs. Wish I was there! We should have a CCR show out here aswell, that would be cool!!!!....
Thanks for the video Custommike! Any one out there that has the dash emblem to a 1951 Merc that you can part with, please let me know. That's about all I need to complete my build. Thanks!!
Thanks again from your Canadian friend Mike. I so appreciate what u do. Especially for us that cannot even dream of going to these events. Your knowledge and your true passion makes for a package that is the BEST bro! list ur patreon page. i will contribute gladly!
So grateful for your kind words. We have not explored financial support solutions yet, but are very grateful for that suggestion. It’s hard to do while working full time to support out team, however it also keeps us current and up to date too,… ;-)

Go for it! =D
By the 60s, the designs from the factory, were so well done, it's hard to improve on them. They learned from the customs of the 50s.
@@ramblerdave1339 true that!!

Yup yup yup
it makes me feel great to see real customs, not the crap there building today.
True that!!
You'll show 20 shoebox Fords & Mercs yet you walk right past a 60 Biscayne/Bel Air 3x and don't even bother filming it ... smh
I film what I like the most and or what catches my eye. That is what I do. Not making any excuses for it.
