It really is, and fewer people seem to realize the importance of proper maintenance. Also, stay tuned because we have a huge announcement about Louie in a couple more weeks.
I remove the chicken plate under the engine to gain better access to the oil filter. There isn't enough room for me to get my arm in at the right angle from above.
One has to love Louie!! I do have a question: Why do you castrate the bull cows? I was under the impression that they serve to imprgnate the female herd.
The only ones that aren't castrated, would be ones that you want to keep as a herd bull. If you don't make steers out of them, they tend to fight each other, as well as people, and cause tremendous problems. Rodger is the only one we left un-neutered.
Louie is hilarious! Maintenance is such an important part of keeping equipment running.

Thanks! Always enjoy the videos.
I appreciate you!
We were blessed to receive the rain! Seems like it soaked in, and didn’t run off.
@@rogerfuhr8067 I agree. My cleaned-out pond didn’t fill that much.
I admire the cleanliness and precision you put into everything you do.
@@Evan.Davenport Thank you, but that made my wife laugh out loud!
Maybe I should specify your cleanliness and precision with what work you do OUTSIDE on the farm!

@@steveningrahm8928 Thanks for the tip! I might try that next time, because it’s usually a big hassle. I just lucked out this time.
