Just because they said you can doesn't mean they should.

Arrested for being poor. That's how I see it. The Americans with Disabilities Act can take a second seat behind basic shelter.

I worked for a company where. My last two paycheck bounced then without notice we were all laid off. Made me homeless. Trying to find a job and a home under those circumstances is damn near impossible!

There are homeless living on almost every street in Alaska. It’s worse in the summer.

Where I live it takes up to four damn years to get housing and it's based on you keeping that phone number working for that long. And now I don't think I'll make it if I get a fine for sleeping in my SUV at this point in time I'll probably just end my life because I don't have 1,000 bucks per a fine. And if you go to jail you still have to pay court fines on top of a 1,000. So much for the land of freedom. At this rate death seems like the only choice we homeless are gonna have left. I can't even get work because I'm homeless and have no address to put down for tax stuff

It doesn’t help the homeless cause when the news channel’s cameraman films a crackhead in the background during the interview with the woman.

We should ban camping in day time. If there are no rules then many people don't want to get help at all , many don't want help at all and just live and trash the land and make EVERYONE miserable. Tents will build up more if there's no rules. Keep alaska beautiful and clean ! I'm tired of picking up their trash they throw around mu communty! People who trash the most beautiful state needs to go!

Correct- Its become a subculture and many ppl prefer to live this way. Not ALL but many many, and growing. They have destroyed the greenbelts and forests around my house. Their mess attracts bear as well and thats a HUGE problem. And dont forget the human feces thats often all over the places we use to walk our dogs and enjoy the outdoors close to town.. This is getting ridiculous and its been out of hand for a while. ...

Lot of words to say you want the homeless dead and gone. You're a piece of shit, Deborah.

Nobody wants to be homeless in Alaska. Have you ever tried sleep outside in February up there?

@TC-cr2oy i have been homeless for 10 years in Seattle and one year in Alaska . I would know first hand how majority of homeless people are and even what they talk about and how they act . There are plenty of resources to help them get on their feet and into housing . Majorty of them have no real excuse . They need to do something about themselves but they are too lazy or on drugs and it keeps getting worse and land and water keeps getting trashed . Do you know how many needles go into rivers and oceans ? A LOT . And I think ots strange the democrats allow that. You know water is supposed to be protected against terrorist right ? Anyone cam damage the water supply and there goes everyone. Poisoned by tainted water .

Anchorage started off as a tent city, so it makes sense people wanting homes will just do what people in the past did! I should set up a tent too! I’m tired of paying rent!

It's the mobile trash dumps that they drag with them everywhere. The homeless just don't understand that they cannot just post up anywhere they want. Take care of your life.
