The Homie made it! I’ve been watching dude for a long time. I have some JL amps and wiring btw, I’m not just on here to swing on nuts and washers and spacers. Those shallow 8s are next for the rear doors of my Prius. That’s why I’m here, I’m looking for stealth box that’s easy to attach to the rear door without having to figure out the box from scratch. Go CAF and JL.!
Nice. Be sure to take a look at our recommend power (75-300W) for the 10-inch TW1 subwoofer used in this Stealthbox. Sounds like your amplifier might be outside our specifications.
Hi Mark! I have been wondering if two subwoofers facing each other will not cancel each other out. Do they not? Is it ok to have them installed facing each other? Thank you
Great video! I just ordered the Stealthbox, amp, amp holder, and fuse holder. I also bought the JL Audio amp power kit as well as the sub wires. I noticed your sub audio cables were screwed onto the sub. What I bought had RCA type ends. I don’t see anything on JL Audio’s site that mimics what I saw you use for the install. Please help and thanks!
Great information! Does the box stay flush with the backseats? I have installed backseat recliner brackets which reclines the entire backseats by a couple of degrees. My main concern is that the sub enclosure won’t fit anymore since the backseat is more reclined than stock. Is there some play for that enclosure? What would you recommend?
Unfortunately, it does sit flush to the seat. There are more photos on the product page to give you a better idea. www.jlaudio.com/collections/car-audio-stealthbox/products/sb-j-jl4dpas-10tw1-2-car-audio-stealthbox-94666
does anyone know what the part number is for the panel to replace the Alpine Stock sub woofer when putting in Passenger side shealth box. OEM MOPAR Please let me know I ran into issues talking to parts department at DODGE.
Great video. Question, if only installing one side with no factory sub would you recommend driver or passenger model? Also what ohms would you pair with what amp?
If you have no factory subwoofer it really is up to you which side to pick. If you have a factory subwoofer replacing the passenger side would require buying a replacement panel from the dealer so if only going one Stealthbox it's best to do the driver side. The VXi subwoofer amplifier shown in the video is stable down to 2 ohms and provides 600 watts RMS. So you would want the two 4 ohm subwoofers connected in parallel. If you are only doing one stealthbox I'd suggest the XD300/1v2 which makes 300 wRMS at 2 ohms, so you would want the 2 ohm subwoofer version. Hope that helps!
Does JL Audio make a direct replacement sub for the OEM box? It'd be nice to keep the OEM box and just add a better sub and amp, but not sure there is room in the OEM box for a better Sub
Where is the 2021 Bronco Stealth Box? You guys making one or what? Ordered a 12tw3d4 and slowly making my own box, a lot harder when I no longer work for a shop. Anyway, would love to see what you may or may not have for the new Bronco 4 door.
@@JLAudioInc I currently have a 12tw3 that I planned on fiberglassing into the factory sub location but finding time to work on it and work and having a almost 1 year old had stretched me thin. Looking forward to seeing what you got, been a JL guy since like 98 when I got two 10w3’s then three 12w3’s then two 15’s haha.
Is there a significant improvement having a stealth box on both the driver and passenger sides? Or, would it be more beneficial to invest in better speakers? I can only afford 1) 2 subs; or 2) 1 sub plus speakers. Thanks!
I purchased a single stealthbox, amp & speakers for now, going to wire for two subs/amps and add them later if I decide I’m not completely happy. This way I don’t have to take everything apart again
If you're looking for an increase in overall sound quality with the addition of substantial bass, the sub plus speakers is the way to go. If you're happy with the quality of speakers you have right now, maybe adding extra bass is the way you want to go. It really depends on what your system goals are at this moment. Having said this, you can always add things later and wire everything now as Dave said. For any further questions, feel free to reach out to our tech team. Absolutely - our Stealthbox applications should be able to fit in passenger side location as well. If you would like further information, feel free to reach out to our tech team here: jlaudio.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

how do you wire this into your system? I have the alpine premium audio sub and would like to add the driverside JL sub.
Question: will this Driver side Stealthbox interfere with the factory premium Alpine Sub on the passenger side? Searched everywhere, no answers
Like the video am putting one in my wrangler along with a 2600watt 6ch amp to big for under the seat not sure a good location to mount it

Curious if you have a newer model for the 2024 series as they have a slightly different build in the back? The driver side panel is different.

Joshua, thanks for reaching out. At this time we do not offer a direct replacement sub for the OEM enclsoure.

How about doing a 21 Gladiator?
We do have Stealthbox applications available for the Gladiator
Box too small.
Thanks for reaching out. Too small as opposed to?
It's actually sized perfectly for the 10TW1, and it's compact size is very nice to avoid taking up cargo space.
If you just wanted to replace the factory alpine sub on the passenger side any recommendations for that?
Absolutely - our Stealthbox applications should be able to fit in passenger side location as well. If you would like further information, feel free to reach out to our tech team here: jlaudio.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/requests/new
