I'm planning to visit Warsaw on next week and intend to use public transport. Thank You for useful information. Greetings from Lithuania and Miłego dnia :).
For me the most important thing there is in any transport (but mostly in Warsaw because there are a lot of unnecessary stations Like Instytut Fizyki having 3 stops instead of 2) is REMEMBERING THE NUMBER OF THE STOP. In simple stop like in my city: Cmentarz, there are only 2 ways that they can go, so you just cross the road and you're done. But in more difficult stops like in my Dworzec where there are 10 stops you have to know the exact number to not go on the wrong stop.
I suddenly feel so old ... I remember when buses and trams were under the MZK umbrella (Miejske Zaklady Komunikacyjne). In 1994, if memory serves, they split to MZA (Miejskie Zaklady Autobusowe) and TW (Tramwaje Warszawskie). Both were under the scrutiny, if you will, ZTM (Zarzad Transportu Miejskiego). 😎😎
Hope you still read your comments. I will be traveling to Warsaw in a few weeks and your video has been extremely helpful. I'm confident I can use it now. Thank you so much
Good morning,,, Dzień dobry i watch yoyr vedio today,, it's amazing u described everything very well,,,about tram, train and buses,, yes it's ture public transport of Poland are better then other countries and u not need to buy your own car and I appreciate your hardworking,,,, soon I moved to Warsaw, because my wife live here, I hope see u soon,,,, best wishes from Punjab Pakistan
Yes, the S trains are also operated by ZTM so all shown tickets apply for them. Important thing is that, you can use all tickets at S trains (red), but only part of tickets (24h or higher) at KM/R trains (green) with exception of RL airport train, where rules are like in S trains
@@poland_ka_safarI like to give my appreciation to your work. Gonna visit Warsaw soon and your Video have given almost all I need to know, even there could be some gaps to be filled, answers become easy to be found out through the internet. Your collective information made my search much easier, thank you so much!
education in public schools is free. it is the most popular form of education paid for by the polish goverment. the second category is private schools supported by tuition fees paid by the parents of the students' children. the amounts range from about PLN 1,500 to PLN 2,500 per month. it all depends on the city. e.g. in Krakow private schools they cost about PLN 1200-1500 per month. in addition, there is the monthly cost of feeding a child, approx. PLN 300-400 per month for breakfast, lunch and afternoon meal
@@bharathimeda6189 In the case of non-public schools, recruitment for vacancies is usually carried out throughout the year. or how a class is created Priority is given to students who continue their education in this school, e.g. they previously attended a kindergarten run by this school. and if there are vacancies, the order of applications decides. However, if there are more applicants than places, the school may conduct a casting. that is, they will check how the child copes in a new place, whether he easily makes new friends. But whether he knows the alphabet (1st grade) or can read a little, etc. In Krakow, reserve lists for private schools were created a year in advance. so you have to make a few phone calls or send emails to find a vacancy, but everything is manageable. while in the case of state (i.e. public) schools, each child living in a given locality is assigned to a school in that area. In this case, you must make an appointment with the school management and ask for a free place. sometimes the school closest to our place will not have vacancies, but maybe one a little further away will accept new students. I think the school administration should give you an advice what to do next. I think Krakow and Warsaw has the same prices around 1500-2000 pln per month.
@@MargoER Thank You For the information. We are planning to shift to Poland (Warsaw) in the mid of this year. Most of the people are suggesting to move along the family but we are hesitant as it will be in the mid of the year which may effect the education of my Child. Please provide me your suggestions and also Can you suggest the time taken to issue Resident Card after we land.
@@bharathimeda6189 It all depends on what month you intend to come to Poland. the school year in Poland always ends on June 21 (unless it falls on a weekend then a few days earlier). So if you want to come to Poland between June and September, I think this is the best time because you will have some time to acclimatize in the new country before the children go to school. If you already know exactly where you will live or want to live, I would email public schools near the place you will live asking if there are places and what the admission process is like. If you want to go to a private school, same if they have a place where you can list your child. In private schools, they usually ask for an entry fee to make a reservation. But this is all to be agreed with the school management.

Very nice video. I've lived near Warsaw for over 8 years and learned some new things from your video. Thank you!

That's right. Some big stops have many numbers and it's difficult to find the correct one. Guess that will be same for any big city
I guess for a visitor, the best option is to keep Google Maps open in the smartphone so they can see where they are going.
@@phnex6913 yes
Yes always need to check station number on Google maps
The best bus stop from Germany will be? If we are taking Ecolines/flixbus? Thank you

Good Work.

Very informative!
Thank you
Wow , you read my mind 😀
1:04 you forgot SKM (Szybka Kolej Miejska)
Yes we wanted to make separate video about those but didn't yet have the chance.
You forgot about SKM and Koleje Mazowieckie trains. Trains are better than buses, trams or metro.
These are topics for separate video 🙂
@@poland_ka_safar Why? SKM and Koleje Mazowieckie are part of urban transport. You can ride these trains with the WKM card.
@@ps61762 yes we know that. Planning to cover these options in another video. Like part 2
Very useful video, thanks! Do i need to validate the card each time I go on?
Not every time. Only first time after recharge
What about 'S' train lines? Are they included in the 3 day ticket?
Sorry not sure about this one

Main thing is missed. You didn’t mention the name of the app where we can buy tickets
Its possible to buy tickets in almost all banking apps itself directly. Or else you can use app called Jakdojade
Hello, thanks for guide. I’d like to know a name of the app for tickets. I found app called Mobizawa but it is in polish. Thank u
It's called Jakdojade.
It was extremely hard to understand what she was saying. I wish the music was not playing in the background , it made it more confusing.
Thanks for the feedback. Our newer videos have better audio
3 days ticket is for 72 hours?
Yes it is
How we can buy monthly ticket?
You can visit the ticket office in big metro stations and get a card. Take your passport and go
@@poland_ka_safar just a passport is enough and anything else?
It's enough
You gave absolutely NO app name or how to purchase from them. This was much more important than knowing the history of trams.
App name is Jakdojade
