"There are always men like you." The weariness in the old man's voice when he says this. A victim of history who has experienced the rise and fall of petty tyrants, over and over again.
A man who has likely seen the rise and fall of both fascism and communism in his homeland. For the first time in his life, he is standing against a tyrant like he probably wished he could have when he was younger.
The most heroic moment is when a normal man with no powers who is frail and weak shows the strength to say not today nor any other day will we bend the knee to a tyrant.

I honestly don't think a single one of these reactors understood the comparison that was being drawn here. I get that the guy's been dead for eighty years but when people are saying he's of an age "to have fought with Steve Rogers" and not know what they were fighting against? The world is in real trouble.
14:44 "Why is he surrendering?" Well, it might have something to do with Loki being made into the Tenpin and sent flying with the LEAST of Iron Man's arsenal. Loki surrendered because didn't want to end up as the God Of Large Grease Stains On The Ground. Plus, he had ulterior motives...BECAUSE he's LOKI....
I think it was a reference to Red Skull, but left vague enough where it could be interpreted as a reference to Hitler. The first Captain America film does show Steve playacting punching out a guy dressed like Hitler, though.
I hear a lot of people say that so it isn't just you, but I don't agree at all, I still enjoy the MCU a great deal. Sure, most of my absolute favourite MCU stuff was back in phases 1-3, but I've still enjoyed almost everything in phases 4-5 so far, even most of the stuff that a lot of people seem to hate like Love & Thunder and Quantumania; I thought they were fun. It's really only Secret Invasion that I thought was a total dud and to a lesser extent while I thought Eternals was interesting, I don't think it quite worked.

And it being completely lost on most of the reactors ugh
That old man was the real hero here.

At least one, in the middle of the 20th century, anyway.
The most heroic moment is when a normal man with no powers who is frail and weak shows the strength to say not today nor any other day will we bend the knee to a tyrant.
That old man was the true hero here. Willing to die to face down a tyrant.
indeed. the man likely lived through two different tyrannies and is going to make a stand against another.
That actor also played Heinrich Himmler in Man in the High Castle. So he covered both sides of the tyranny in two different roles.

@@howardbeatman2820 Yep. When I see him in other roles playing well adjusted people I always remember Barney Miller.

I love the smirk on Natasha's face when Tony shows up.

The title says its people reacting to, "There are always men like you," and only one single person actually understood the line or reacted to it.
I never thought about it, but Iron Man does have one of the best character entrances here. :)
Did that Reacts with Jax gal say “Daddy?” Wasn’t expecting that out of her 😂
this scene is strong
Jesus. Some of these reactors talk so much, idk how they have any idea what’s going on in the movie.
This Scene was filmed in Downtown Cleveland, Ohio
Great movie
This is well-timed.
The ones who need to understand that are too busy celebrating their victory.
I think Whedon made a bit of a continuity error (not sure) but if I remember correctly Steve was already in the ice before they got to Germany

@ yeah I know but I don’t remember Steve even going to Germany
I think he really only fought hydra too
@@JamailvanWestering He fought Hydra in their German bases. I think the one where Red Skull started the planes was deep inside Germany.
@ I thought that was Switzerland
THIS was truly a great marvel moment...unlike their recent garbage
Does anyone else notice a huge difference in quality between classic MCU and the trash that is the current MCU? Or is it just me.

Isn't it weird that this Scene plays in Germany but everyone is talking english 😄
One german spoke English lol
The US needs right now Captain America!
2012 loki>>>>>> tva loki
And it's not even a contest
Why put a specific line in the title if you're going to cut off the reaction to that line in 2/3 of the videos?
2025 and we're watching this scene play out in real life right now 😢
not even close
No,,,we avoided it

If that is the case, then the last thing anyone should do is give up their guns, especially semi-auto rifles.
