Feel bad for Peep. No one appreciated him at this concert. Emo rap wasn't that popular and Peep's music is hard to get into. You sorta have to learn to vibe to it. So to put Peep on a stage with more "normalized" rappers. Benz truck was the hardest one to watch. I love that song! Still no one vibes. And since this was his biggest concert he was problably fucking nervous. Feel bad for him.
The crowd mic was muted a lot of the time and intentionally turned down so you can focus on the artist. If you look at the clips of the crowd they were actually vibing to pretty much the whole set!
But still very nervous, idk if it was the weird echoing auto-tuned mic they gave him or morning voice cracks u can hear ( go listen to when I lie, you'll get what I mean )
If they recorded his vocals here, it would make a killer release for an anniversary edition of some songs (the release of star shopping on vinyl came with remastered versions of 2 of his performances)
I only recently discovered lil peep. I've always lisened to Star Shopping but never looked further into Gus's music. When I Finnaly did I fell in love with his music. I also love his personality. The videos of him and him being goofy. I wish it whould of lasted longer and i wish someone whould of helped him when he needed it most. Rest easy Gus

If you watch his cowys shows you can see how HIS fans match his energy for each song especially since the tour was for his album. Also at that time he was still growing his fanbase & was just starting to gain fans outside of his original subgenre of Rap. Peep actually moved to London before his cowys tour & was working on an album with Makonnen. It was never finished or released but it had an upbeat pop production. The original "Falling Down" track w/ Makonnen was one of the songs on the album. I think if it finished & released it would've attracted a lot of rap fans & could've been his big break.
Listening to peep's music Helped me through a lot of major and mental problems I was dealing with at the time I know it might be dumb to say but I have his crybaby tattoo and his homesick tattoo It makes me feel like I always have somebody with me even when I'm alone
