DIY Wedding Unity Candles & Sand Ceremony Set

I hope September has been kind to you so far. Today I'm sharing a DIY video on how to make your own Unitity Candles and Sand Ceremony Set for a Wedding ceremony.
I realised I could just make everything myself and so that was exactly what I did. I thought I'll share the process incase there's anybody who wants to do the same by saving money. Just know there isn't a right or wrong when it comes to creating your own candles or bottles. Do whatever works best to your liking and HAVE FUN!!
Materials used for Unity Candles:
2 Plain dinner Candles
1 Plain Pillar Candle
Ribbon (I bought mine from hobby craft)
Twine (I think I bought mine from a garden centre)
An artificial stalk of greenery
Wooden Tags/hearts (I bought mine from The Works)
Pens or Pyrograph Pen (I bought mine from The Works)
Glue
Materials used for Sand Ceremony Kit:
4 jars (I bought a 6 piece milk bottle set from The Range)
1 Bottle (I bought mine from the Pound shop)
Twine
Glue
Wooden hearts (from the works)
Pens or pyrography pen
Lace (from hsbbycraft)
Don't forget to buy a funnel to pour in the sand if you're using a bottle as the main container!

gosh i remember back to watching you in your childhood bedroom with that blonde wig on pretending to be hannah montana goofing around and now look where you are! i was 15 when i found and subscribed to your channels and i'm now almost 32 with a 12 year old daughter. time certainly does fly!
it's been a pleasure to have the opportunity to have you share glimpses into your life allowing us to see you grow into the wonderful, empathetic and selfless woman & mother that you are today. you played a big part being my comfort youtuber back in my teenage years and my early twenties navigating my first few years of motherhood. i actually still remember being pregnant with my daughter over a decade ago and being in the cinema with my then partner and squealing because i had received a response from you on a recently released video you had posted as i was usually a quiet subscriber but that to me at the time felt like the equivalent of a huge celebrity acknowledging little old me hahah.

Such a cute idea~ I wonder after the wedding if you could keep the little wooden tags and make a family Christmas ornament including them maybe inside a clear acrylic ball somehow. Aww! I'm so glad you do. I'm more than happy to share as I plan the wedding especially if it might help give some inspo for others out there. To be honest; I have to admit I'm not the most fussed when it comes to my how I will look though. I'm sure I will more closer to time xx

might want to get a funnel for the sand pouring otherwise I fear it will get everywhere. you could get a white or metal funnel and polymer clay or your lace to glue some scallops and make it prettier. or use paint pens and paint flowers or write something like love, marriage, or joy that will bind your new family together.

I totally remember how she acted toward her son . I have only sympathies with that little boy . But I hope his new father figure gives him what was lost in his childhood . Ps may he grow to find someone that loves him for who he is .
Lovely❤😊 my husband and I braided a rope together. I made a plaque with ECC 4:12 - a cord of 3 strands is not easily broken. (nothing can break us +God). It has been such a beautiful reminder throughout our marriage. No matter what comes our way. We only need each other and the Lord😊❤

As a DIY bride, I bought ALOT of my wedding decor second handed from other brides. They're only used once & are 100% in great condition to be used in another wedding.
Wedding costs are no joke. It makes absolute sense to save money in as many areas as you can. Well done Val!!
