It occurs to me, that people might not fully appreciate just how highly trained they are. they throw themselves into near single point turns and flips at 90-100 km/h at top combat speeds, threading holes a few metres wide and on occasion even scraping the ground or simply putting their feet down and running a few paces across a full building hall, before kicking up, using gear that takes their entire body to control, that naturally wants to pull them at high speed into the walls they pass, and they do all this instinctively with less then a degree of error. One of the younger members of the military holds open a titans mouth with one hand, long enough to rescue a friend before being eaten. Others make sword strikes with razor blades the size of longswords attached to their obscenely difficult to use manoeuvre gear. And they do all this, while avoiding injury by G-forces, turbo motion sickness, dislocating limbs, tearing muscles, blood loss, and actually hitting solid walls at high velocity. And despite all this training, all this specialised gear, they're still mostly fighting a defensive battle. The Titans earned their name.
