I never really got the hate for Rebecca it just seems that everyone was expecting this badass warrior when she's just a genuinely gentle and peace loving person who absolutely hates to fight. The only reason she's fighting is because she has to and even when she was trained by Soldier-san she didn't want to attack so she essentially learned to fight without attacking. She's also actually really strong but the fact that she hates violence and fighting is holding her back from fully using her strength, added to the fact that most of the new people in Dressrosa plus the Doflamingo pirates are way above her in strength. People try to make her out to be a fighter when she's really not one by her own choice. Honestly I think she's a really admirable character.
