My understanding was the reocurrences of throat cancer. My thoughts of him that is/was a faithful man; a praying man; his craft in music was fulfilled to the max; he loved it and sought it as passionally as any one could. Ali was a man of humility; very conscious of others; I love the way he carried himself...He was one of my favorite Temps. Thanks Juanita for sharing this...there are some things that I am going thru and I have rec'd blessing from this epic expression in music.

What a privilege for us to have Ali Woods on in our life. Their's no talent like Mr. Woods on. No matter what type of song he gave it his all. I listen to him daily my favorite is my best friend. It's a tear jerker but the most beautiful song ever. We are lucky to still have his music. God Bless you Mr. Woods on May you'll RIP.
Ali was one of the greatest soul singers of all time! He had the range and vulnerability of David Ruffin, the melisma of Sam Cooke and the grittiness and Gospel scream of Wilson Pickett. He was one of the greatest Temptation lead singers....the greatest after David Ruffin. Commercially, he should have been so much more. He was very underrated as a solo artist. RIP Ali. Sing in that Heavenly Choir. Tell Sam, Otis, David, Eddie, Melvin, Marvin, Teddy, Johnny Taylor, James, Wilson and the rest of the soul clan I’ll be there soon!

My understanding was the reocurrences of throat cancer. My thoughts of him that is/was a faithful man; a praying man; his craft in music was fulfilled to the max; he loved it and sought it as passionally as any one could. Ali was a man of humility; very conscious of others; I love the way he carried himself...He was one of my favorite Temps. Thanks Juanita for sharing this...there are some things that I am going thru and I have rec'd blessing from this epic expression in music.
