My name is Albeli Ritu and I love telling stories. When I was a little girl all I wanted was to do something creative and different. I didn't have the courage to do it for the last 27 years but finally, I have decided to be the hero of my own story. I came to the US in 2018 December and from 2019 I am sharing my journey as a TH-camr in America. I make travel and lifestyle videos in Hindi from America. Everything you said about subway is 💯 true, I commute into the city for work every day and can’t stand the filth! NYC is great when you are in your 20s- 30s, for people watching, to hang out with your friends, work colleagues, you have no baggage, not married, no kids OR when you retire and have million dollars in the bank to pay outrageous prices for those high rise apts. Still it’s a melting pot for cultures, nationalities and ethnicities. As you said no one cares or judges, whatever you do😊

I live in Manhattan NYC.. its one of the best places to live if you don’t mind the high rent/ maintenance fees for apartments and overall higher cost of living..

Mai New York shift nahi hona chahunga. Mai Bharat me rehta hu aur hamesha rehna chahunga...mai apne desh se bohot pyar karta hu .
Same here. India is developing, and things have improved a lot. But it's good for us if others settle outside 😉

Con - u have to deal with husle, dirt, traffic, much exhasting walk etc.
Pro - but u can always go to central park to get ur energy back, to breath, to enjoy nature, feel the peace, relax.
U can enjoy ferry anytime n enjoy ur 'me time'
There is no dirt in NYC. Walking is considered best for your health, and everything paved. You only need to hustle if you haven't planned.

In New York apart from homelessness, the crime rate is also very high. One very big plus point in New York City is the 24 hrs. Subway trains and also the 24 hrs. Supermarket, deli and Pharmacy in many neighborhoods.

I love NY , I would not live any where else except Manhattan , there is a reason why people pay those crazy rents + additional city tax and not move 10min away across the river to Jersey
Main bhi new York main Rahi ti hu. Main apne husband and 9 month baby ke sath 1mahine pahle aayi hu. Milte hai. Achha Lage ga.
Informative vlog!! I would never like to live in Newyork ..bcoz I feel India is a better place to live peacefully without any visa issues , favourable climatic conditions in most of our states , low crime and frauds ..so.. 🙏

Usa is not the same anymore as it used to be
European cities have more history, culture , closeness etc unable to explain but visited many places and hence my opinion

Did you mean UK vs. US? US is 70% better. Faster advancement, more salaries, bigger homes, bigger vehicles, more opportunities for business, and growth. UK is 9 hours to India, food is good, and everything is available in short distances.
Its multicultural...so, u can get any kind of food. NY has maximum numbers of food trucks
Nope, Traffic is horrible in NYC and Jersey City.😬 finding parking spot is headache. That’s the reason we moved to Edison from Jersey City 😂

We r in Jersey City,just across Hudson River! Which is slightly cheaper than Manhattan,and the distance is-- Ten minutes by Yellow water Taxi ! BUT over-all Expenses do make ,a lot of difference! We feel that living here in Jersey City is --- 1/3 saved ?🤔

I would love to go Toronto, Canada rather than New York, At some point in life, I may have to settle down somewhere. However, obtaining citizenship in New York, America is not as easy as it is in Canada, and there is not a significant difference between living in Toronto or New York.
There is a gigantic difference between the US and Canada. Please do not compare Toronto and NYC. Toronto is not even close. Best.

There are too many other better places to stay in USA. NY is for business opportunities. Quieter, cleaner and well connected places exist and are preffered for a holistic quality of life.

Simple, US is better. 70% better than UK. The US has more opportunities, bigger homes, bigger vehicles, and the fastest way to earn and grow business and other opportunities. UK is 9 hours to India, and everything is nearby, and the food tastes good.
