  • Birds, Bees, Butterflies ... OH MY! Pollinators...particularly BEES face many threats today. There are many ways to help the pollinators; creating a bee-butterfly friendly flower garden in our yard is one way, or placing containers of water in your yard so thirsty bees can get a drink…. BUT there is a little catch you should know about leaving water out for the pollinators…they have to be able to get to it and not drown! Today I'm going to show you how to make a pollinator friendly basin using a pie plate, a recycled ceramic pot, and put it all together using Aves FIXIT Sculpt and turn it into a work of functional art to that is sure to bring pollinators right where you want them and help avoid areas where you don’t ; ) This is also going to be really spectacular looking where ever you end up placing it.
I love to re-purpose, upcycle and make functional art because recycle, reduce, reuse helps everyone, and it’s just fun to make art like this….so that is what I will use for this project - you could also update a former bird bath that will also work great!
Aves Fixit Sculpt or Apoxie Sculpt will work great for this project you can get it here: www.avesstudio.com
