- The true opulence of Vraja is in the flowers and the cowherd friends and gopis of Sri Shyamsundar make various garlands and ornaments for him. Following the same mood, the deities in Iskcon Vrindavan are decorated with numerous gorgeous flower garlands and ornaments made by devoted matajis, who string in their bhakti along with the flowers in the garlands.
Love you dear and sweet Govinda Devi. On my last day in Vrindavan many years ago, when I was sad that I had to leave, you blessed me by giving me the big maha garland of Srila Prabhupada. Not only that, but you were so kind and loving. I will never forget that! ❤️🌺🌹❤️💗🌹🤗💖❤️💐🌹❤️

Nonsense going on all over the world in the name of radha-krishna bhakti.
No its not like that I live here and I've seen devotees making garlands for the Lord males also make garlands but they don't sit together there is another hall where males also make during festival. And there are many many sevas for Thakurji and we all take part in that males make turbans for the Lord I also make turban for Gauranitai Jagganatha and even Shyamasundara and they accept u visit the temple sometime and see .Each of us has to serve the Lord for His happiness there is nothing fake in Iskcon
No fake devotion dear. If you are qualified, all services are open for matajis and prabhujis in iskcon. No one is forced to do something, no one is deprived from doing anything. If you have dedication, you can take up any service. In iskcon matajis are pujaris, give lecture, manage temples as temple president, manage global zones, make garlands, cook, bake, its as per your inclination and qualification, that's it!
