Carla Maté Goldar es CEO y cofundadora de D-Sight, una spin-off del Vall d'Hebron Institut de Recerca (VHIR) enfocada en desarrollar tratamientos para enfermedades neurodegenerativas de la retina. Con más de ocho años de experiencia en innovación, transferencia tecnológica y gestión empresarial, Carla ha reorientado su carrera hacia la gestión estratégica. Posee un Global MBA en el sector Farmacéutico y Biotecnológico (UB) y un MBA en Transformación Digital (IEBS). Colabora como mentora y evaluadora en programas de aceleración a nivel nacional e internacional.
Carla Maté Goldar is the CEO and co-founder of D-Sight, a spin-off from the Vall d'Hebron Institut de Recerca (VHIR) focused on developing treatments for neurodegenerative retinal diseases. With over eight years of experience in innovation, technology transfer, and business management, Carla has shifted her career towards strategic management. She holds a Global MBA in the Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology sector from UB and an MBA in Digital Transformation from IEBS. Additionally, she collaborates as a mentor and evaluator in acceleration programs at both national and international levels.
D-SIGHT es una spin-off del VHIR enfocada en el descubrimiento y desarrollo de tratamientos innovadores para enfermedades neurodegenerativas de la retina. Su primer producto es un colirio revolucionario destinado a tratar la retinopatía diabética (RD) en sus etapas tempranas, que es la complicación neurovascular más frecuente de la diabetes y una de las principales causas de ceguera prevenible en adultos. Ofrecen una solución no invasiva, autoadministrable, segura y efectiva.
D-SIGHT is a spin-off from VHIR focused on discovering and developing innovative treatments for neurodegenerative retinal diseases. Its first product is a revolutionary eye drop designed to treat early-stage diabetic retinopathy (DR), the most common neurovascular complication of diabetes and one of the leading causes of preventable blindness in adults.
