I don't want garnacho to leave anytime soon, he only needs to stop shooting from here there and anywhere and start putting decent crosses into the box and he should have a decent future at United, I don't get why fans want to get rid as he still young and can get better
I wonder if Anthony has ever been tried in the LWB position in training. To me it seems like the ideal position for him in this formation because he's hard working in defence when playing as a winger, and being left footed, he'd stick to the wing which is what Amorim wants from a LWB, and wouldn't need to slow things down by cutting inside. I would think it's worth a try anyway, since we'd make a massive loss selling him.
@@marcangelus Amorim has mentioned that he is trying Antony at wing back. According to Amorim, Antony had not yet gotten to grips with the defensive demands of being a wing back. That was a few weeks back. At this point we should "Sancho" him and loan him out to try recoup some of his wage fees and put him in the shop window somewhere else. That may up his asking price a bit, which is absolutely needed, coz we still owe 40odd million to Ajax for him. 😅
Now I understand why Jim said we would rather walk to the right decision than run to the wrong one... he was just sugarcoating we don't want to spend unless we absolutely have to 🤦
Don't know why people are so surprised by this. We had to listen to "there's no value in the market" for 7 years under Fergie as we played a 34 and 35 year old in centre mid Glazernomics is about spending yourself out of a hole your own under- investment pus you in. Only this time, they've let it go so far we can't generate enough surplus to do it.
Liverpool sold coutino for £ 150m and bought VVD and Allison. Trouble is Man Utd have bought most of their players at the top end of their players like Antony.
If that's the case then fine, but it would be impossible to know what happens behind closed doors. Bottom line is that a large portion of the fanbase does think that Garnacho is good enough, and a lot of other players should be shown the door before he is. And INEOS needs to earn the fans' trust in their judgement, given how they fumbled the manager situation amongst others.
Now that there's more service to the striker, it's becoming clear that Rasmus has to work on getting in better positions. I've seen him mostly behind defenders on crosses, or choosing the least favorable path on through balls. He has potential, but he has a lot to learn.
good video mark ! agreed we need to stay patient with the manager and trust his decisions on players such as Højlund and Zirkzee, who ofc isnt as comparable to Højlund who really just needs development, which is why i would be fond of us getting in a very experienced striker, hence im on the fence of wether its a good decision getting muani, as im not sure of his character and how he could develop rasmus. There isnt a world where we dont need rasmus right now, we dont have another option for an all out number 9, and if we got someone else in we would still need the sub. One option woulod be to loan him out if we get another striker so he can get playtime and not loose confidence, because lets be real he probably wont be getting a lot of goals when we get a new first striker so that wouldnt help much unless he really develops on the side which can be hard with limited game time.
Striker is a tricky one. I don't want us to get Muani in. If Zirkzee stays, that's a definite no. I like both Josh and Rasmus. Gyokorez is rumored to have a release clause around €60mil. I hope he is keen to rejoin Amorim. 😅🤞😎
If we get rid of rashford Casemiro and Antony we would save about 56 million in wages… where’s the other 56 million of the £113 million loss last year, gonna have to come from cost cuts.
