What a beautiful performance! This song is a regular on my playlist. I don't speak Japanese, but this song hits me right in the feels with a quickness. When she sings the part where it is just her with the microphone down by her waist is haunting and wastes no time making my eyes wet. I love it! Great reaction!

桜をモチーフにした歌は沢山ありますが、日本人にとって学校の入学や卒業、会社への入社と大きな節目は桜の咲く季節で、学校には必ず桜の木が植えられていて、大きな会社の工場の敷地等や、街路樹も桜が沢山植えられています。春と言えば桜の季節で思い出の中の風景に桜を思い出す人は多いのでしょうね。
