i have whatched all these lessons and i consider some parts or some part of videos are missing am i correct for example tapping & reaming cycles are not in the videos is there any way to have the full collection of these lessons??
On question number 8 in the quiz is the program correct as long as the last coordinate is the angled coordinate? If the steps are in chronological order wouldn’t the problem be wrong?
if I understand your question, You are correct, the First Coordinate should be X.50, Z 0., But that is not how it is displayed that why i choose " NO".
Most CNC lathes are set up on Diameter measurements (some use radius however) ..so if you wanted to turn a .500 diameter you would move "X" to X .500, hope that helps.
Great video! You have a voice for radio!
Im a year one student in a machining course and just got my first job in a machine shop. These videos helped a lot. Thank you.

thanks for this video. I find it very helpful and understanding.
X axis shows diameter, say .50 (@22;39). Wouldn't X.5 move the tool .50 from program 0 (x0, Z0) for a diameter of 1.0? Confusing.
