The thing about islands like this is that I have plenty of ideas too, but I just can't make most of it. Like the band area. I have a guitar and an amp, but I don't have the other instruments yet. So I made the area, and it looks empty, because I don't have half the stuff I need. I have a piano bench, but not a piano :( I don't even have a nice bench for my park, so there's a bunch of log benches everywhere I want a bench. I'll get it eventually, though. So I'm just doing the best I can without changing everything too much. Takes too much time. My residential area isn't perfect now either. I use a lot more space without doing anything near as cool. I gave everyone a tree for example, simply because I just don't have cool stuff to put in their gardens. But you know, at least it doesn't look absolutely awful. It just looks kinda boring.

I can confirm it is how it is placed on a table, and you can’t turn it outdoors. I tried every way I could think of to get my microscope in my outdoor lab to face the right way!
@@corvidaegudmund1186 I've found that if you want the eye piece to face the end of the table (with you standing on the short side), you need to go to the opposite end, place an item on that side, then add the microscope. I love watching other five star islands. So far I've added a restaurant cafe bar hotel on the beach by adding another user on my switch/island and upgrading it almost completely, placed my nooks cranny on the beach with a beach front, and made a walkway of just gold Roses and money trees, as well as making romantic points using the rocks (which I had no idea you could place furniture there). I'm the process of color coordinating my flowers. Watching this helps me know it will pay off. Def gonna use my bushes in a similar way! The space expo is such a good idea!
This is really beautiful, the super straight lined grid-like maps always blow my mind like how do you have sooo much stuff and yet it doesnt feel cluttered and makes the island feel so huge. I like my chaotic organic natural map style im creating but I always love seeing the other side, it's so fascinating and pretty.
This is my favorite island you've showcased thus far. I'm so grateful you do these videos because they help me come up with my own designs when I've got a creative block. I do wish more islands were naturally themed. Also, people use waterfalls too frequently and it detracts from their beauty. Less is more and also realistic.
I''ve seen so many island tour and now it seems that they all look alike which is kind of sad. They all have the band area, the market place, the space area, the outdoor museum, the diner/cafe, the zen garden, the waterfall to the secret beach.
OMG those purple tulips are gorgeous!! And those rainbow floor lights along the waterfalls are *MuWAH*! Love this island! That "Beau" was fantastically full of breathy vibrato. 😆
The thing that I’ve realized with all of these videos, and also because I’m terraforming my island currently, is that you actually get a lot of space to create whatever you want..it’s just that the first layout that you get feels smaller because there’s a lot of different levels..but if you terraform everything and start from scratch it’s so much space that you don’t even know what to put 😂 Great video btw! ☺️
9/10 very nice with some creative places such as the entrance, the dinner, and that phenomenal art gallery, etc. Furthermore, great terraforming and flow, with a unique feel to it. However, it does have a lot of stuff that has been already seen, though it's not who's done it first its who's done its best, and so far he's done it best, space expo, music area, etc. Great residential area but lack the flowers. Though as seen in the video he's growing more and when that happens 10/10 A Masterpiece job.
One thing I find interesting is how all these S Tier islands are so full of decorations, I finally got my Island to 5 Stars Thursday and it feels like a lot of it is still undecorated, maybe it's my layout or because I got to 5 Stars before I'm even finished with it? Anyway just an observation. I love this island I'll have to share my island when it's done (don't actually know where you share it assume you'd put pictures on Reddit or something?) However, i like the idea of an island feeling like you are on an island and not a perfectly manicured city... if that makes sense.
Agreed. I love how these look, but it looks like a pain to navigate when doing your daily tasks in game. I'm always torn between making my island look this pristine, but easy to move around in
This is how I've felt about every island tour so far. They are all beautiful, but they look very artificial, not at all like an island you would actually live or play the game on. I also feel like some of the status features get used too much, like having an orchard of every tree and displaying your gold roses and lily of the valleys front and center. Don't get me wrong it is very beautiful and commendable, but stylistically they are all kind of following the same format. I'm trying to do something very different myself with a lot of interesting cliff shapes and larger, more natural looking waterways, and I'd love to see someone doing something similar so I can get some cool new ideas.
I agree too. My island is 4 star at the moment. In regards to terraforming I've tried stick to my islands original shape so it holds it natural look. I got my campsite in a wooded area and a lot of my villagers have 'businesses'. So huck the frog has a coffee shop around his house and coco the rabbit has a wood work shop. One has a small orchard but most my fruit trees are still out in the wild. As nice as these islands look, I much prefer a natural flowing game
Ever since Redd was added I needed a good idea for his path, DEFINITELY doing a maze lol!
