Very tidy. Really like the Omega seat. Cables really are a nightmare to keep tidy. I think I spent half the day sorting mine without damaging desk. Cable ties galore and I’m dreading something dying and needing replacing. Will take half a day again 🤣

Thanks Matt, over the course of the last few years I've slowly built it up, don't think it's as much as 10k, maybe about 6k but like I say spread over a few years
If you don't already have one, the T150 is a good, cheap wheel, however there's a new thrust master wheel, I think the T128 or something like that that's the same price but of a bit higher quality

I would have thought blockbuster movie budget would have been bigger, but i get the modesty I have a 9R with Triples and an 8RX on my desk, so hey we have things in common.

Thank you for the tour. I have a very similar PC set up and the same logitech wheel setup. I’ve been struggling to get the right feel out of my wheel as well. Force feedback doesn’t seem to be playing nicely with FS 22 or at least that’s my guess. I hope overtime this will get better but it’s still a nagging issue.

Nice set up fsg. Cable management can be a real pain. Only thing I would suggest would be the table mounts for the joysticks. And a Xbox elite series 2 controller. But very jealous I don't even have room for a corner in my house.
I have an Xbox elite controller but for some reason it kept losing connection so I’ve swapped it for the PS4, I’ve looked at the table mounts before but I like the idea of moving them out of the way while I edit etc

I just plugged them in and they were instantly recognised. Are you plugging them into your PC direct or into a USB hub? Some hubs may not be powerful enough

Yeah it’s a problem for sure, but I pretty much only play Farm Sim at the moment, I do have a sim rig I play some iRacing and Assetto Corsa on. But I don’t have time for much else

I’m upgrading part of my PC next month my specs is Intel core i7 6700k upgrading it to i9 9900k and graphics is GTX 2060 super upgrading it to GTX 3060 12g I get a lot a stutter in my game when I play a lot of FPS problems
and I7 and 2060 should run the game at close to max settings without any issues. you could have some dodgy mods that are impacting performace. do you get the stuttering when you play on a base map with no mods installed?

Everything still fine. I tried only my vehicles mods. Everything seemed fine, I did just my building mods and the graphics and stuff seem fine. No problems but when I Add them all together there is issue

@@philip4588 But it's a game, there's a difference between reality and a game, I play in the evenings and weekends because I use it as a way to relax when I finish my day job, and you don't need my setup to play farming simulator, if you have a console or already have a PC you only need the cost of the game to play it

Yeah it's not the wheel it's the poor FFB in FS22, hopefully it'll be sorted for the next game. I've turned it off all together now. just use the centering spring
Are there mods that screw with it? Because sometimes it seems fine and sometimes the wheel is so hard I can barely turn it and it doesn’t seem to change anything if I have it on or off it’s like I just have to be lucky when I load in, I don’t get it
@@rustyhook84gaming56 Yeah I had the same issue, it's a mix of the poor Logitech software and FS not detecting each other, try unplugging and replugging in your wheel once you've started the game
Probably over the course of about 3 years it's around £4000, I tend to look out for when deals and discounts are on. TH-cam doesn't pay much but it means I can fund the hobby.
@@TheFarmSimGuy and it is a cheaper wheel I heard a lot of good things about it and Logitech is a very well known brand. the T300 does have slightly better force feedback but idk how much that matters in farm sim either way hopefully they will all be on sale this black Friday.

GFX are way overpriced still. cant wait to get a new one for myself. due recent issues with my motherboard, which also damaged my cpu, was kind of "forced" to make an upgrade and running a ryzen5 5600G. its not a dedicated GFX card as i would wish for, but at least is running fs22 a bit smoother than my old gt970. Got to save up a lil more money for a gfx upgrade after mobo/cpu forced upgrade. Love your fs22 setup. never got used to play with joystick, but i bet it makes it easier for shovel and the woodcutters, among other tools. i am using a hotas setup tho, not dual sticks, how hard might it be to setup with fs22?
Not something I’ve sat done and worked out to be honest, I’ve built it up over the last few years piece by piece (I maybe don’t want to think about it 😂)
Like FSG said mate, mostly plug and play. I got the same ones back in November on the recommendation of another fs gamer and he wasn't wrong. Between them and my G923 (the ps4/pc version) it has really added a completely new level to my FS experience. 10/10 would recommend 👌
I love and have those joysticks as well. Been trying to finalize my bindings, but getting there. So far have the excavator dig controls and such mapped out. Now to decipher all the rest lol. Best sticks out there, especially with the twist for turning etc.
BTW I'm the guy with the wool-selling problem in calmsden. All solved, it was a problem with the transport contracts mod. i've unistalled it and begin in a new save game. Thank you so much yor your help!!!
I'm using the same mouse. Logi make great mice their keyboards... not so much. I have noticed keyboard quality has gone down drastically over the last 10 years.
Quite a decent set up, bet that GPU cost an arm and a leg I would love to upgrade my xfx to a geforce but cards are too expensive. I did manage to get sim dash board workin properly its just a brilliant set up to use.
I managed to get the GPU at RRP price, I refused to upgrade until I found one that wasn't crazy money, I just got lucky a few weeks ago that my local computer store had a delivery about an hour before I went in, and it was the last one!

I would suggest a AOC 32inch 1440p curved monitor with that card you have. You will be blown away by the quality on the screen

Yes but I change stuff a lot so it’s frustrating replacing them, I’m ok with it as is I just think it looks messy

How do you get joysticks to work? I have Logitech extreme 3d joystick. Haven’t been able to get it to work.
Just plugged them in and all worked straight away, have had to do a lot of work in the keybinds to configure them

@@philip4588 But it's a game, there's a difference between reality and a game, I play in the evenings and weekends because I use it as a way to relax when I finish my day job, and you don't need my setup to play farming simulator, if you have a console or already have a PC you only need the cost of the game to play it

is the force feedback very weird in your logitech or have a ton of play in it? i hate it, was way better in fs19, and if so is there any way you know of to fix it?
Yeah it's not the wheel it's the poor FFB in FS22, hopefully it'll be sorted for the next game. I've turned it off all together now. just use the centering spring
Are there mods that screw with it? Because sometimes it seems fine and sometimes the wheel is so hard I can barely turn it and it doesn’t seem to change anything if I have it on or off it’s like I just have to be lucky when I load in, I don’t get it
@@rustyhook84gaming56 Yeah I had the same issue, it's a mix of the poor Logitech software and FS not detecting each other, try unplugging and replugging in your wheel once you've started the game
How much did you invest in your setup???
Probably over the course of about 3 years it's around £4000, I tend to look out for when deals and discounts are on. TH-cam doesn't pay much but it means I can fund the hobby.
is a thrustmaster T300 wheel and base overkill for farm sim? lol
I use a G920 and it's not so bad.
@@TheFarmSimGuy and it is a cheaper wheel I heard a lot of good things about it and Logitech is a very well known brand. the T300 does have slightly better force feedback but idk how much that matters in farm sim either way hopefully they will all be on sale this black Friday.

@@QuantumLivin No, if you want to have 1 joystick just buy 1, if you want to use 2 buy both of them, it's up to you, also you don't NEED a joystick at all for FS22 if you don't want too

GFX are way overpriced still. cant wait to get a new one for myself. due recent issues with my motherboard, which also damaged my cpu, was kind of "forced" to make an upgrade and running a ryzen5 5600G. its not a dedicated GFX card as i would wish for, but at least is running fs22 a bit smoother than my old gt970. Got to save up a lil more money for a gfx upgrade after mobo/cpu forced upgrade.
Love your fs22 setup. never got used to play with joystick, but i bet it makes it easier for shovel and the woodcutters, among other tools. i am using a hotas setup tho, not dual sticks, how hard might it be to setup with fs22?
It should be no issue at all, just assign things in the key binds to suit your personal preferences 👍

Not something I’ve sat done and worked out to be honest, I’ve built it up over the last few years piece by piece (I maybe don’t want to think about it 😂)

I really do not recommend the thrustmasters. Vkb makes a waaaaay better stick for not much more$ if any.proper left and right sticks too
I've not seen those I'll check them out, but I've no complaints from the Thrustmasters so far

Just plug and play, you’ll need to edit some of the key bindings to suit your gameplay, but it’s done the same as you would with a wheel 👍

Like FSG said mate, mostly plug and play. I got the same ones back in November on the recommendation of another fs gamer and he wasn't wrong.
Between them and my G923 (the ps4/pc version) it has really added a completely new level to my FS experience.

I love and have those joysticks as well. Been trying to finalize my bindings, but getting there. So far have the excavator dig controls and such mapped out. Now to decipher all the rest lol. Best sticks out there, especially with the twist for turning etc.
BTW I'm the guy with the wool-selling problem in calmsden. All solved, it was a problem with the transport contracts mod. i've unistalled it and begin in a new save game. Thank you so much yor your help!!!

I'm using the same mouse. Logi make great mice their keyboards... not so much. I have noticed keyboard quality has gone down drastically over the last 10 years.

Quite a decent set up, bet that GPU cost an arm and a leg I would love to upgrade my xfx to a geforce but cards are too expensive. I did manage to get sim dash board workin properly its just a brilliant set up to use.
I managed to get the GPU at RRP price, I refused to upgrade until I found one that wasn't crazy money, I just got lucky a few weeks ago that my local computer store had a delivery about an hour before I went in, and it was the last one!
