You an your love for blue fish, never gets old 😆🤣😂😅
lol its at the point of the season where I despise them again
Damn! Solid bruiser right there, I have to say the pic with the sun in the back and the huge bass, perfect thumbnail!
Just came back from vacation and visited Rhode Island and went fishing with son and guide Dustin. Being from Hawaii I have done alot of fishing here in Hawsii, but never from a kayak. Caught lots of decent sized stripped bass then hooked up to what I was told is called a "cow". Always heard the term Nantucket sleigh ride and thats what I experienced. In fact Johnny, you were out their at 🤫🤫🤫🤫 I was the older gentleman that was EXHAUSTED after that. My son was saying he recognized your voice from your amazing videos. I am now a new follower of yours. 🤙🤙🎣🎣🤙🤙🤙🤙🎣🎣🎣🎣🎣🎣
If there's a lure more productive then a tube n worm at consistently catching bass, I'd love see it...nice work dude
Very nice Jonny! 🤙🏽🎣💯
That’s was an AWESOME Striper Jonny, great day 👊
Awesome video as always man!
That was a huge bass to land from the kayak! Nice fish. stay safe
this video warrants a re-watch ( a few times actually) of the giant bluefish that just would not stop trying to yank you out of your seat (2:12) classic knucklehead bluefish behavior.
Long island sound at it's best
those pesky blues!!!! great video man
Nice vid Bravo.
gonna start looking at dates in August to join ya out there
Nice!
Thinking of taking a trip down to RI from Maine with my kayak in the next month or so. Any suggestions on good spots to launch from and pedal around inshore?
Hi Johnny, thanks for the videos. I was wondering what you are looking for on your chart plotter when fishing. I have had a new one installed on my little whaler but do not have the experience in what I should be looking for. Anyone else find this a topic for themselves?
Hi..great videos ..just one question ,,how far back from the kayak is the tube and worm when you troll..
How do you like the pdl vs the hobie?
What tubes do you use?
How big is your reel and what are you running for line?
Good questions , how deep can you get that tube down ? Anybody?
I was wondering how I could find spots to shore fish? I’ve been going to this one spot and every once in a while I see fish eating small bait fish but I can’t tell how big they are. I pretty much only chunk from shore but I never even get a nibble. I wasn’t sure if it was the location or something I was doing but I see fish every once in a while in this spot and they never bite. All I can get are scup if I toss out squid. I fish typically from late morning to around 5:00 latest from the edge of a rock jetty. i dont know what the bottom looks like. weather its a sand flat or rocky and full of seaweed. What should I do? I’m limited in time slots I can fish and locations. I fish in Rhode Island
fishing the hours of 9am-4pm will drastically lower any chance at success. Try getting out for sunset and into dark or sunrise. Learn how to fish a pencil popper and SP minnow type plugs. Chunking can be super frustrating for someone just starting out and quite frankly, boring. Look up the cotton cordell pencil popper, it is a cheap lure and produces greatly
