Sad to hear that the producer of a magnum opus like Mungaru Male was this unprofessional and mannerless. To negatively comment about the looks of the film female lead after the film released and having produced it himself speaks volumes about the level of professionalism kannada film producers had during 2000s. That was the worst decade of kannada cinema and interviews like this are clearly explaining why it was so. Mungaru Male, Gaalipata and Duniya, Jogi are literally the only few films which created an impact in those 10 long years. Not surprised that is the case because the people who were responsible for making/producing films were unorganised, shallow and unprofessional. Fortunately, now in 2021 the kannada film producers have come a long way in terms of having a structured approach and have for the most part learnt what it is to respect your film cast and be professional. Although there are still plenty of bad apples who still comment about the looks of the cast in an ugly way and set a bad example
