So this is what I get for trying to be nice Like it's the only time I've ever cared These blank walls make me sick Like excuses made up quick I'd move forward if I only could I'd like to thank you for this effort It left me barely breathing on this stretcher We'll work things out in the end But we'll still be far from friends Take my hand, run it through your hair again I'll just pretend you're someone else It's what I always did I'm not gonna force it if it doesn't fit I'm not supposed to feel like this But the weight of the world is just too strong for me And I think I might just run away Back to your door Empty days and lonely nights Provide a blueprint for the things I write So when people ask me, I know just what to say The thought of you helps me wake up every day And I don't believe in fate (in fate) The only fate is the fate you make (you make) So I'll keep my nose to the grindstone 'Cause that's all that I can do I've got good friends that help me, too Someday I will get back to you On the back of my hand is the number she wrote I'll call her when my whole world goes up in smoke Until then I'll wonder what could have been 'Cause everything works itself out in the end In the end
i wish the rest of the guys would've put something into the backup vocals at 2:32-2:35 like they did on the recorded version, i fucking love that part. regardless, i still love this performance. great vid
i love this band but after hearing parker speak, i'm wondering why he insists on staying in the same register vocally for probably most of their songs (i've only heard like half so who knows). i get that its pop punk but still. if you can sing in multiple octaves, why not do it? i always thought maybe he just had a naturally higher voice for a guy. not trying to hate or anything. it was just crazy hearing him speak haha
He actually has a really nice voice in his lower register. If you check out their Songs Of EP from 2014, he explores the lower range of his voice, and it's interesting to hear him sing like that.
There was about 15 people here and I was one of them!
Lucky fucker
You lucky son of a gun!
Lucky man
Lucky
Lucky bro watching these in 2023 wish !
ON THE BACK OF MY HAND IS THE NUMBER SHE WROTE. He hits that perfect!
Can we just acknowledge how badass the bassist is
This band is so fucking good
This song. Can't stop listening.
Belgian pop punk guy lover here. Peace from that Frie country here. Ps too drunk to type, but I love you all and TSSf is tha shit!
This is when their music was made by the boys for the boys 💯 can’t believe this is almost 10 years old!
Still listening to this weekly
these guys are perfect live
So this is what I get for trying to be nice
Like it's the only time I've ever cared
These blank walls make me sick
Like excuses made up quick
I'd move forward if I only could
I'd like to thank you for this effort
It left me barely breathing on this stretcher
We'll work things out in the end
But we'll still be far from friends
Take my hand, run it through your hair again
I'll just pretend you're someone else
It's what I always did
I'm not gonna force it if it doesn't fit
I'm not supposed to feel like this
But the weight of the world is just too strong for me
And I think I might just run away
Back to your door
Empty days and lonely nights
Provide a blueprint for the things I write
So when people ask me, I know just what to say
The thought of you helps me wake up every day
And I don't believe in fate (in fate)
The only fate is the fate you make (you make)
So I'll keep my nose to the grindstone
'Cause that's all that I can do
I've got good friends that help me, too
Someday I will get back to you
On the back of my hand is the number she wrote
I'll call her when my whole world goes up in smoke
Until then I'll wonder what could have been
'Cause everything works itself out in the end
In the end
Ali yeah Ali.. never bored!
