@@woahasmurf7878 DPS is not everything there's to it, LS has better counters, range and cooler moveset and can dish out damage faster (with the SnS you need the monster to be downed/paralysed in order to land a full perfect rush)
Wallace Sousuke SnS has better mobility, less commitment, larger burst damage, and about the same skill ceiling. LS also has to level up the spirit gauge in the first place to do that type of damage. SnS also doesn’t have to worry about a bugged attack the like the helm splitter. We don’t screw up other peoples dps either when playing multiplayer. I’m not trying to shit on LS too hard because i main it as well and its really fun, but both weapons have their negatives and positives.

@@iamkmkm41ibb Well F. Heroic GS cannot tackle attacks or they will cart. This is the advantage of fast weapons, they have more access to Heroics and PP in a way. The only way for GS to run Heroics is flinch locking. Also note that this is Felyne Heroics, he doesn't have Heroics in his build.
My basic understanding of why you used poison instead of blast is that you get more poison damage because you literally kill it so fast you don’t get many blast procs. Good problem to have XD

After rolling, press the direction you want to attack + O button you will automatically do the back leap.

This is the fastest melee weapon run currently - faster than GS
However the GS player didn't use Heroic build (attack increase while HP under 35%). I guess it would be faster if he use it
