Do you not have a arc welder? Also why didn't you turn the handle over so there wouldn't be scope interference?

No arc welder. I just have a mig. I've found out migs work better for stuff like this I have welded them with arc welders before but the mig is better imo. The handle is on correct it won't interfere with the scope if you turn it over it would not clear the stock.

@ericschulze5641 yes tig Is the preferred welding application for this job! I don't have a tig and to be honest im not very good at it lol. But you are correct it would be better! The handles I got from ebay years ago. They were commercial mauser bolts and I bought a bunch in bulk. I just cut the handle off the bolt and weld to the bolt im using. Unfortunately these have dried up and I haven't been able to find them affordable anymore. They still pop up for sale time to time but they are not cheap anymore. I can't remember exactly how much I paid for them years ago but It was somewhere around 5-10 bucks each.
