Yeah, the flex on the Bamboo board had to have more flex and a softer ride. This sounds like the perfect fit for you riding back and forth to work. They contacted me with less of a deal then last time. Gotta write them back and not so sure I’m happy with that considering the channel growth and how much content about their product I’ve made. Also considering I didn’t jump on a class action lawsuit. Lol.
Have a look at the Tynee Explorer. It's a great flexible board . You can even customise acceleration , brakes, top speed all from the remote. It us the most comfortable board I've ever ridden.
I'm looking to get my first e skateboard and thinking about the hadean because the acceleration and speed and the fact it does have lights. Another thing is although I'm not super large and I'm not a small super skinny person either so the fact the carbon one can support 265 pounds I think that should be more than enough
I wonder how the bamboo would look if you bought it and got it wrapped? Of course after removing and re-adding the grip tape it would probably never be quite be the same fit and finish.
It's unfortunate I have been hearing the hadean has been having problems with braking as well on the FB owners forum which I love evolve bamboo hadean but scared to fly off my board unexpectedly.
Oh dang. I’ve not heard that yet. I might just stick my money into my motorcycle and just ride the meepo I have. I loved the gtr but I feel like suing evolve for this crap. Lol
to fix that brake yourself. go into trigger calibration, calibrate the brake fully in. boom slow easy braking, if you want it more touchy, try calibrating the brake 3/4s pressed. if its too touchy depress a little more, if not enough depress a little less. works with throttle too. i like my throttle to throw me uphill. so i calibrate max throttle to be 3/4ish throttle. thats all it is.
@@SeanOzz its really touchy but if you take away or add a little at a time you'll find that sweet spot. My last remote was set all the way pressed and it struggled to get torque to climb hills unless full speed. Really kicked the batteries ass.
You’re a lucky man. All the GTRs I’ve written over 17 to 19 mph the brake is touchy touchy touchy. Evolve Ashley just updated a new GTR where they fix that though
@@SeanOzz oh for sure. keep in mind, the gtr was built in 2017 and released in 2019. extremely outdated. lot of ppl dont think ab that. ppl look at a price tag and don’t comprehend quality and customer service. i have lots of boards. some out perform the hadean, but no one has the balance of the hadean. meaning all quality, power, innovation, speed, technology, polish, customer service, smoothness and everything else that comes with it 👌🏼
I agree with that. Still crazy they never did a firmware update for the gtr to fix that touchy brake at high speeds. I sold mine after I crashed to someone who heckled the esc and fixed it himself. If he could you’d think they could.
Hadean is smooth or powerful? Nah. They fake the torque by gear ratio and acceleration curve setup. For the price they are asking, "china board" (quote by Matty in the famous video) can outperform in both price and quality. Without mention evolve boards are also made in china. The only awesome "made in America" board is going to be Hoyt St. But at an actually higher cost. Or a board like Meepo Hurricane, Ownboard Zeus Pro, Exway Atlas Pro, or even the soon-to-be-released Metroboard fits better. It is unfortunate that people are being ripped off on these evolves. Fun fact, for the same price, Hadean lost a drag race (which they are so proud of they're out of the line power) to an old generation atlas 4wd.
if the Brakes is smoother than GRT it calls for a BIG SAFETY CONCERN!!! Ridding NYC i need to stop before an idiot runs me over with his car when he sees available parking spot. For that reason I like the brakes of old Carbon GT (it stops on the spot and you have to run off the board). GTR is smoother but smooth brakes caused me to land on the car's trunk several times as i was unable to stop intime. I ride GRT and i dont think i want to upgrade.
Sorry. Smooth doesn’t mean no stopping power. Push as hard as u like and instantly stop on Haden. Gtr push tiny amount and jerky grab. Not smooth. It is a huge issue with gtr. Don’t knock it till u try it. Don’t confuse smooth for not having exact same stopping power with gtr.
I’ll never mess with a gtr again now that I know how much smoother the Hadean is all around.
I’ll also not ride without my helmet or pads again.

But I go easy when applying my brakes.

I have two GTR’s and a stoke. Never had a single complaint about the breaks. Got to brace yourself when stopping
