    Distance between terrace walls is greater than 2x the height of lower wall, either an optical illusion or someone wasn't listening

    Where should that drain tube go? Some place underground or out on a surface?

    Laying the first layer, says keep it level, if your laying it direct to concrete with no mortar between fail to see how that's achievable.

    no geogrid on every 3rd layer ?,,in america,,we use geogrid to retain and reinforce the wall

      I think this video is specifically for gravity walls that rely on their own weight, i.e. non-reinforced, up to 1.25 metres high. There is a separate method for reinforced walls above 1.25 metres high. th-cam.com/video/YjywSPxUxBA/w-d-xo.html

    Retaining walls are the silent heroes of the architectural world.
    They have they shittiest job("Reject this dirt's right to obey the laws of gravity") and they do it with nary a complaint.
    Whenever I contemplate my place in this world, I ask myself: What would a retaining wall do?
