Thank you for this Oak Island program, I look forward to it every week. I hope you solve the mystery AND find treasure. Now, since I lived for years on the shore of Lake Michigan, I am enjoying the program about The Curse of Confederate Gold. Kathryn
I love the entire crew! They may never find anything of significance, or the may? BUT they are rich in friends and family. I really appreciate the lack of needless scripted fighting/drama.
I'm always get excited everytime they find another evidence that exist before. This is so ambitious, high risk. Keep going guys I believe there is really gold under that land
They repeat always the last episode and just a little bit news it s incredible. I can t beleive they don t have enough new things to make something interested.
Was a interesting show for a short while, now painfull, cant believe it's still being aired. I'd love to know how much has been spent to date on this exploration and drilling debacle... 10 mill 20mill ???
They're all digging in the wrong place , they're digging up a distraction ,the loot is some where else ,the dudes that done this were very smart ,cunning,
I think about 75% of the series is just re-caps of prior episodes, 20% useless small talk and introductions, 4% reused animations, and 1% talking about anything slightly interesting.
A drill? That goes down?? That found wood??? From a tunnel???? On an island????? Where people have been searching for treasure for over 200 years?????? Narrorator cracks me up.
In a previous episode I could have sworn they talked about a guy who took over in the 1960's and dug out a massive (essentially quarried) area to down 100 ft depth before he ran out of money. If they found some wood at 90 feet why would they be at all concerned about dating this material or analyzing it's meaning.
It was a fresh water well/filter, when people landed there, it was a way to desalinate salt water so they had something to drink, no treasure... these weren’t Disney pirates, they didn’t bury their treasure just off the beach... and go through that kind of effort to bury the treasure. About 35-50 meters off the beach is what you need to have water that is potable, the layers they discovered was a way to help facilitate removing the salt in the water, the lines going out from the dug structure was so that water still made its way to the well/filter
Research is key to finding anything on Oak Island. Stop assumeing there is something there and start preassumeing that there is nothing there to prove a point that there is something there. Ask yourselves why haven't you found something more greater on Oak Island.
Drilling holes that's one thing, but what if they find the treasure for real? Will the authorities give permission to placer mine the entire region to get down to pay dirt? That will most likely destroy this side of the island.
I believe there is gold at Seagrove beach and my brother and I are probably the only 2 people still alive that actually witnessed some of this story in progress 60 Years ago.
after the water is stop, you can get to it in3 week with a back ho thingre enforce it with that tub thing after it open it might need to be pump out, how to the crain get that far down, unless you dig it low enuf so it can reach it
I wish for dan they would of found something it would mean so much to him he was a great man never gave up they lost the best man that knew the most about that island Rest In Peace dan Blankenship
Craig's son, who was in the show, died last year. They also lost Fred Nolen, a couple of years ago. So, I don't see it happening. Dan Blankenship, Dave & the Blankenship Family leave a wonderful legacy in history. RESPECT
I had read about a village somewhere in or a Norse Vikings village that by building chambers or underground tunnels they were able to connect buildings to thel tunnels So they never had to. Be above ground made self sustainable. Plus had the first working sewage system.maybe that what's happening with all the wood there finding possible series oof tunnels
so if you shout off the flooded tonal aa water from the sea, what ever he tour up it mught be still collaps areathe way the tunneals were made i think on a zig zag left right left then they went down
Once again they found nothing significant. No treasure has been found on or around oak island yet for 6 seasons this show has dragged out them digging holes and finding no proof of treasure lmao
Really its in the 300th season and nothing found, all monies wasted. 300 years for a 12$ value coin, a lead cross and some buttons and a hinge. Greatest hoax ever... Fantasy island
1000+ likes and 76 dislikes. The 75 dislikes are the ones who post al of the crying and complaining. If you don't like the show DO NOT WATCH IT! Simple!
I think that what they hope is there is to vast for a few they would need a large number of men to do what even today would be near impossible. I hope they find something but I doubt they do.
Those guys will never find the jackpot wasting $ like that.. they are poking holes.. it's like searching for a needle in a hay field. They should of dug up that whole area down over 100 feet. Pumped out all the ground water. Much better odds and cheaper. But maybe the government won't let them dig up most of the island? I've seen the gold guys dig giant holes that deep. Idk
MILEHIGH JAX has been done already in the 60s I can't remember the name of the guy that did it but he tore that whole place wide open and he lost a lot of key Clues and signs that were there for the treasure you can Google it and I'll show you pictures of what he done he tore that place apart and didn't find anything but what he did he messed up everything
Ok I looked at Dunfields work, Unimpressed. The brothers needed the opening of the top of the pit to be like the size of a football stadium! Then build road beds to get equipment down deep should be able to get down 150+ feet down. If they could keep the water pumped out of course. And a second thought. Why do they only have one person metal detecting? Shouldn't they have like a dozen people out metal detecting? Bet they would find alot more artifacts. go big or go home right? Just saying.
There may not be a big treasure. But I think they are already successful finding what they have already found. They have found some cool artifacts. Nothing probably worth what they have put in though lol
They haven't found anything to show of true value. I can dig around in my back yard and find loads of rusty nails and spikes. Nuts and bolts. Even wood.. And all kinds of junky, worthless stuff. If this same stuff was found on Oak Island it is considered priceless and a fantastic find! Why is that?
@Jesus is Theonlyway From every indication, whatever is concealed beneath Oak Island was never meant to be recovered. I believe it is an ancient tomb, and the 90-foot stone, uncovered in 1803 with the strange symbols "face down" in the Money Pit, was most probably a capstone like one would see at ancient tombs in the Middle East.
@@johnwoa I agree, they wanted to make sure no one would resurrect it. Treasure has a special place in a greedy man's heart so I don't think it's currency because it would not have been abandoned

This show reminds me of those ghost hunting programs. No ghosts and no treasure. Just a lot of mucking around.
Thanks for uploading and not making it a manditory subscription video. Very much appreciated!
O ye of such little faith!!! One day they may find it, and you'll all have missed it!! That's what keeps me watching!!!
The Wood Fairy strikes again!!
still exciting to watch of what they might find soon but frustrating at the same time coz really nothing significant has been unearthed
Was a interesting show for a short while, now painfull, cant believe it's still being aired. I'd love to know how much has been spent to date on this exploration and drilling debacle... 10 mill 20mill ???

My husky and wolfdog were digging and found a real treasure.....a ball! 😂😂😂🐶🐾🐺🐾
The way it’s going they all might die from old age instead of one person dying . Just saying
Yes , lol I agree
there was a tunnel was there the old miners found but they use dinomight it flooded the tonal after with water
Could it be?? Is it possible ???
Yewww I know! That narration gets on my last nerve! I quit watching because of it. And, oh right, because it’s boring.
If it was easy, it would be known as Treasure Finding, not Hunting
I wonder how many sceptics who have lost something, give up after a brief look.
Have they found anything yet?
Pretty cool technology 👍
Smith’s Cove is the money pit. It might not be gold and silver coins, but it’s the history they are uncovering.
You can tell a lot about the fans of this show (the commenters here) by realizing that virtually none can spell or compose a proper sentence.
What are you an English teacher , spelling teacher or both. Or are you just another moron going around social media correcting people. Smdh
More wood and mud yes!!!!!... wait I have that in my backyard and its free😒😒😒😒.
Wood and mud in your backyard? Could it be?...

The show started in 1795 by some very creative producers. Longest running comedy in history.
This is the Same Old Same Old they been doing for years! NOTHING NEW!
The object IS the show folks, also nothing is real on tv or at the movies and the product (Ads) is what your getting on and on and.
Wish they’d find something already

What.
I'm sure oak island was considered to be a bank.
I hope they don't use Dan Blankenship's death as THE ONE MORE HAS TO DIE curse. That would be such an insult to a great man.
I doubt it. Fred died a yr or two back, he was Dan's rival for many yrs, and the didn't think that then.

The ancient Egyptians used a machine like this.
Yup. Whoever built the pyramids before the Egyptians arrived had the ability to cut granite at 1/10" each pass.
ANYONE KNOW IF THIS ISLAND IS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC?
So if the wood is so many years old. It would probably be 100 to 200 years old when it was used. Do they take that into account?
James Kearney yes thats what carbon dating test results provide! accurate time frames
@@kelkel3201 I understand. But it tells them how old the wood is, not how long ago it was used for the purpose it was used.
