Best thing I ever done enrolling into AMAU student of knowledgeable course. The most challenging but rewarding thing ever alhamdullilah. May Allah azzawajal bless and protect the brothers at AMAU and allow them to keep going with AMAU till the end.

    6th Point:
Things you need to do with a book and then you understood it
    1. You write anything from that book that you've taken (benefits)
    2. You rewrite the content page of that book for yourself (without looking at the content page of somebody else)
    3. summarise the book
-this distinguishes between an ordinary student of knowledge and an elite student of knowledge

2 :00 - focus and ground on a book or point, study properly or your precision will decrease with versatility.
2 hefiz nafs, word for word attained by repitition, & hiful bisitithhar, paraphrase.
10 :00 - choose a comprehensive book in all fields to return to.
Ex. Tawhid, Fathul Majid, by Abdur Rahman Hasan Sh. is grandson of ibn Abdul Wahab!
Aqida : Shar ibn Hizz Aqidah Tahawiya,
Fiqh : for Shafi'i al Minhaj by imam Nawawi Shar Haythami or Ramli
Usul Fiqh : by Jawami Subki Shar Jalaludin Muhali.
Tafsir : ibn Kathir or imam Bagawi!
Arabic : Shar ibn Aqil alla fi Luga nahu wa Sarf
Balaga : Uqudu Juman b suyuti
    Mustalal hadith : Fathul Murid
Shuru hadith : Shar bugigal id on umdatul Ahkam, thubul Salam by Samaani, fathul Bari by ibn Hajr, Shar Sahih Muslim & Subul Salam
Hifs, revise before coming to next Class. Have a partner.
When you read/write a book, benefit lists and do your own content table after reading it to see you understand the flow point. Maybe summarize it. it can be a search content page.
    20 :00 -
importance to original form, scholars have disputes.
Masail Juziya, subsidiary issues. where does dispute come from.
    Why do scholars disagree?
Is the ruling a must or optional to follow a judge's ruling from both sides of a nikah? If both say separate, but the couple may change it's mind.
Students of knowledge will want to know why is there a disagreement.
Is the family member a hakam as in judge or a wakil or representative?
Going to origins will have you not contradict yourself.
    avoid strange opinions!
don't go overboard in research, and lacking in basics.
    use precision books.
scholar's fatawa of contemporary issues is important, to put theory into practice
    worskshops.
    30 :00 -
how to benefit from books, order to read them. like ibn Ibn Qayyim.
some ppl go to scholar / imam to scholar and imam asking how can I seek knowledge and get confused. Try to stick to one.
ibn Qayyim said ilm has 6 levels, ask right question, listen, understand, memorize, teach, and act on it.
do not procrastinate. esp. a good deed.
Imams in Haramain there was no microphone, when ppl would repeat the lecture to those behind them, the imams would do thikr!
    40 :00 -
imam Hafith Katib Bagdadi, was said whenever he was on the street he had a book and was reading.
Abdul Wahab ibn Wahb ibn Amin - read, thikr , tahajud, or reading narration on his own!

I would love to seek knowledge but I don't think I have the right intention. So should I just seek knowledge or should I purify my intention and how do I do that

    • @Hannah.MK7
      @Hannah.MK7 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

Some of the salaf said they started off seeking knowledge with the wrong intention but knowledge forced them to change that after they learnt more. Our Intention should be to remove ignorance from ourselves and from others.
