      According to western media, Chinese homeless people and drug overdosers are in concentration camps in Xinjiang. That's why you don't see them. 😮😂

    Why is the driver's cabin so exposed? Drivers need to be able to concentrate without being disturbed.

    • @TimeWalker
      @TimeWalker  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      This is an automatic subway, so the driver only needs to sit here and hardly need to operate.

      This is a driverless metro.
      In China, ALL driverless cars, bus vans, and trains are required by law to have a driver at the driver seat!
      - For cars, it's for safety reasons. (at least for now).
      - For bus vans, it's for emergency situations.
      - For metro trains, it's really only because you need at least a staff on the train. So may as well be a driver.

    • @ChinaSongsCollection
      @ChinaSongsCollection 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      ....by the way, from what I can see, only driverless cars actually have steering wheels.
      The driverless bus vans don't seem to have steering wheels, so I guess the staff is not actually a driver.
      And for the automated metro trains, I'm not sure the 'driver' can actually drive the train. Maybe someone can let me know.

    • @TimeWalker
      @TimeWalker  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ChinaSongsCollection Hahaha I think that's the case too, because I don't think there's really a need for a driver on the subway

    • @TimeWalker
      @TimeWalker  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ChinaSongsCollection The driver may only operate the brakes and contact the main station to report the situation
