    About the Volkswagen Virtus -
The Volkswagen Virtus bridges the Vento and Jetta. Because it looks and feels like a huge automobile. It's straightforward and pleasant to drive, but not as sophisticated as a Volkswagen Jetta. The interior is spacious, the boot is functional, and the ride is great. The specifications are satisfactory.
Three-cylinder, one-liter turbo-petrol engine with automatic transmission. Paddle shifters operate the six-speed torque-converter automatic. Driving is responsive and relaxing. The engine sings at 2,500 rpm. Yet, a little turbocharged engine should function that way. It won't make you sit up or smile even when it's on song. Yet, people nod in approval. Despite its size, the Virtus' modest engine impresses. Accelerating from a stop is the only dull moment. It's boring and slow.
We utilised the Virtus's paddle shifters to drive in manual and completely automatic modes. Fully automatic mode handles city and interstate travel well.
The one-liter engine is most refined at 2,500-4,000 rpm.
Due to its well-balanced chassis, suspension, brakes, steering, and calibration, the Virtus is ideal for sporty driving and highway cruising. It rides rougher than earlier Jettas and lacks tautness and openness. Nonetheless, if you approach a bend or broken road, you will likely be delighted with your purchase.
The chassis entices enthusiast drivers with its brake feel and progression, predictable and linear steering response, moderately quick turn-in without extreme understeer, unhurried body settlement on the suspension mid-corner, and touch of playfulness. Before you know it, the Virtus invites you to exceed its limits.
The smooth, silent ride is excellent. Damping, springs, and suspension travel minimise jarring rides. Although not fluffy, it absorbed bumps and holes without making us feel unsafe or uncomfortable.
As discussed before, the Virtus's big vehicle aesthetics are a strong selling feature. Large cars have spacious interiors. adds a big boot. Its class-leading length, width, and wheelbase are unsurprising.
The low floor makes rear seat access problematic. Nonetheless, the back has enough head, knee, and shoulder room for three persons. It's comfy too. If you tuck your legs under the front seats, the seats are more comfy but lack thigh support. Back seat back support and seat angle are fine.
In front, the seats support the thighs and back. Seating is also comfortable. Reach, rake, and seat height are adjustable on the steering column.
The carelessly draped seat covers, cheap-feeling plastic, noisy front seat vent fans, and fragile handbrake all lack polish. Even the outer door handles and toggle-style buttons inside aren't Volkswagen-quality.
This premium package includes everything. Keyless engine and door opening. You'll regulate one room's temperature. Both front seats are air-conditioned. The DIS and multimedia system include TFT monitors. The latter boasts class-appropriate features and perfect touch sensitivity. The DIS has a complicated menu, but the UI could be better.
The Virtus has a standard sunroof, automatic dimming mirrors, cruise control, rain-sensing windscreen wipers, automated headlights, rear parking sensors, and a camera. Five seats have three-point safety belts and adjustable headrests. This car has a tyre pressure monitoring system, stability programme, traction control, and six airbags. Safety gear is also abundant.
VW Virtus flaws are few. Most criticisms are unwarranted. As mentioned, it rides nicely and has many functions. The one-liter powertrain isn't exciting, but it's reliable. Our six-speed automatic transmission makes city driving and maintenance easy. Performance seekers might choose the 1.5-liter, 150 horsepower. It's spacious and luxurious like Indian automobiles. So, cost will decide. As other automobiles on this India-specific platform have premium pricing, I won't hold my breath.
