@@pancakepiano7892 They have grown a lot since those drunk/high tours and now they seem to took their shows more seriosly than before. I bet they are mostly sober with a little fun here and there, but I can't really tell, I'm just judging by their cleaner performance.
Their live sound, at least at the show i was at in Atlanta, was pristine. Loud enough but not deafening. Lots of bass, but you could still hear the guitars. I was amazed that the acoustic guitars didn't feedback even a little. On top of it all, the light show was so perfectly timed with the music. One of the best shows I"ve seen in quite a while

@@maximus7352 That section is made of the same chords/variations but arpeggiated with big interval jumps, it's brilliant. However, you can clearly see Tim stop at certain points while playing it and start again and at certain points just play 1 or 2 notes on one string while trying to recover. Not knocking the playing because that riff is actually nuts. I get what you are saying though and you are right in terms of the arrangement. It is a variation of that earlier section and how it was tracked in the studio. I thought you were saying how they performed it live was improv or something when it was just some minor screw-ups due to how difficult that section is to play let alone perform.
@@benseraphin yeah to even pull this off by the skin of your teeth live is impressive. This is a masterpiece of a song. No wonder it took four years to make.
Seriously rehearsals are my favorite because it's live and raw without the needless praise, give these mfs love and appreciation after the each song or after the set is done, these songs aren't same riff limp bizquik tracks let em play, the covid lock down made mfs nutass fan boy weirdos
@@nytugre the sound recording was too good you could hear everyone in the crowd around you screaming the whole track f all that bro you paid good money to be at your spot I'd be super hyped and new ridiculous tracks
Sounds like you know jack shit nothing about the band. They literally ask for a hype crowd, a mosh pit, crowd surfing, and a wall of death at every show they do. If you don't like it then don't see them live.
The merch line in Atlanta was so long, it lasted through most of the show and people were still buying stuff well after the show ended. They must make a killing on merch sales
You should never play a song in a concert if you have to focus on it so hard i hate to say it im sure his future concerts sound way better and it sounds really good but im just saying you should be able to play your song like its second nature for concerts i couldnt play like him but just throwing that out there
The intro tracks for their songs at concerts are so badass
i love the reverse notes, also really atmospheric
he was so focus this song would be so hard to play live
Fr, especially the last part of the song
They killed it tho. Saw them in philly and it was an incredible show
Cap he's not focused he's just prolly just dunk af on wine, and high af off weed lol good ol t isn't even trying

so unreal to get to see this in person
Dying for a full set recorded off this tour!
Guard was having a Head bob
The smoke machine blasting me in the face like that would drive me crazy.
Me too
this probably sounded soo good live.. sadly im gonna miss theere show here in charlotte today

I don't think that was intentional, that ending riff is just madness. They did good recovering that all things considered
@@benseraphin Yeah polyphia doing their things, but also I think it is intentional because it sounded like 2:41 but faster.

the guard couldn't resist to HB 😂
Imagine having the opportunity to witness this masterpiece live and having some moron screeching in your ear the whole time.

I bet this was so hard to play live
To those who were actually there, how did it sound live???? Very difficult to judge based off of camera video/sound quality.
poor bassist he has to stand in the back
I don't like or even hate this style but this kid is amazing!
Where can I buy this guitar?

DOPE
Joey Sturgis at 0:13?
🤔 now hold on...
guitar sounds absolutely horrible over the recording. Shame, it sounds like they crushed the song live.
They did a great job, I think there’s actually a better video of the same concert out there go check it out
I can see my phone in the bottom left corner of the screen😂

pd el calvito de guardia es mijo tito
well it was worse than i expected
how. they fucking killed it
I think it just sounds worse because he is recording on a crappy phone camera
What a snooze fest
no stage presence whatsoever :/
If you think it is possible to have stage presence for the intro of this song. You don’t play guitar. This song is mind bogglingly difficult
Did you think they were going to be shimmying and jumping around while constantly shifting positions and hitting harmonics? Get real.
Awesome. Thanks.
I'm pretty sure Tim and Yvette Young are the same person.
Yvette young = pickless Henson
The guitar doesn’t sound good live tbh. They are on point but it sounds quiet.
I can’t confirm it was probably my hand over the mic or something, it was legit live
@@nytugre Also, a lot of mics mute sharper sounds to reduce clipping. I think it's doing that for the higher notes unfortunately.
