make sure to create one without the narration, there's some people who may not want it, I personally love it, but others may not, besides, it's good to have multiple options.
Dude- I’m just imagining a battle field where all hope is lost in 40k… all of the angels of death are falling- humanity is breathing its last breath in despair. Then when it seems like everything is about to end… a bright light brighter than the sun… burning away the heresy once and for all. The emperor is reborn
I feel the opposite. The last bit isn't hopeful per se, it seems to me more tragic but beautiful. The undeniable reality, the Emperor of Man atop his Golden Throne, unable to die, unable to live. A thousand promises unfulfilled. One final light in the grim darkness, cast by the embers of a dying soul.
The Eternal Guardian, yet he does not stir. The Anathema that yet prevails, the one flame that does not go out. The one Man that has endured for 10 Millenia, bound and tormented upon a throne. The Only Witness of incaculable deaths, of families and dynasties whose souls he protects, The Emperor whose Will strenghens by the day. The Golden Flame of Humanity that rages and in the darkest of futures. For the warp is nothing but shattered dreams and only one thing matters. Will and the is One Will Above All Others. Ave Imperator Rex.
Very cool comment but doesn't the music also evoke a certain level of undeniable tragedy? That flame that doesn't go out could have been a raging fire to warm all of mankind but now merely flickers in the darkness and it is cast by the embers of a dying soul, locked upon his throne, condemned by his own hand.
@ True for the most part, he was by pathetic and arrogant sons who couldn’t see his vision and in their small mindedness, doomed humanity to decay and rot.
Artwork being on point as always! I'm torn between the sounds at 2:15 onwards, it's either being the sounds of Humanity’s suffering at the rottern state of the Imperium, and it’s countless enemies closing in from all sides...or it's the sounds of the Big E's regular hearty meal of 4000+ Psykers (High in Fibre!) being sacrificed to him each day in order to keep him going.
Hmmmmn, I dunno if I like this one as much as the previous one? Immortalis is so damned good that I listed to it frequently and the art for it it is also really good. I just vibe with the Big E to that track. This one seems less, unique for most of it? A bit like many space themes you hear but there's no really eldritch undertones until slightly at 2:25 - which I like to sort of signify the suffering of mankind as its Emperor sits 'dead' on His Throne, unable to help them. The choir seems a bit - I hate to say it but - generic. 😕 The ending at 3:56 DOES stick the landing though and that's what I expected more of this track to be like. The sound there really conveys the tragic dichotomy of how His plan to save us all condemned both Himself and mankind to the darkness they now both endure. For Him, the torment of the Throne and the inability to die, drifting away from us slowly. For mankind, the eternal war against itself and its relentless enemies with nothing at the end of the tunnel but the screams of the damned and the dying. This artwork also doesn't look like the Golden Throne and the figure on it not like the Emperor? I suppose behind him is the Astronomicon, the Light of Terra? That's a nice touch but I dunno if I like it as much as some other art you've used. Is it AI? Still good work but after the absolute banger that was Immortalis, I wanted to share my thoughts on this one for what it's worth :3
Absolutely valid :) there was originally a lot more additional harmonies in this but they were stripped to make it simpler, perhaps when they are all done it will need a few additional elements to make it feel right but don't know yet, am imagining part 3 to hold a lot of the drama so this half dead period of torment and worship may need to stay understated. As for the artwork, all of it originates as ai artwork but edits are made with the goal of being as lore friendly as possible, this certainly isn't the one eyed semi-mechanical skeleton of the grimdark reality however. The feedback is of course appreciated and sorry it didn't hit the mark for you ☺
@@blackcellaudio Hmmmn, I think perhaps the first half could do with that? But I have to amend my statement now that I've listened to it through headphones in high quality. The nuances and harmonies are very subtle but certainly there, far more muted than I expected. Fitting perhaps, considering the theme. I now also heard the last third of the song in HD and Holy Emperor, is that majestic and tragic beyond describing. I wish AI could create video because I saw in my head first the eery silence of the Imperial Palace's inner chambers, the still air whispering a thousand shameful secrets. Then, the screaming of the psykers, dying where nobody but those cursed to the duty can hear it and finally, we see the implacable figure upon its throne, glorious and cursed at once, glowing with holy light in its interminable rot. Humanity's tragedy made manifest. The Emperor of Mankind upon his Golden Throne. It made me emotional
@@Aedrion- Thanks for coming back! Am very tempted for the final video to get a 3d model made of emps that the effects can then transition through from Big E, Corpse Emperor to Starchild. I feel like the final complete emps piece deserves something special visually? I do forget that I only listen to these through my studio speakers so can hear everything haha, never do a car/phone test or anything like that. I may still take some of that advice and put some additional key instruments in at a later date, you got me thinking :)
@@blackcellaudio I have been listening to this more today and am loving it a lot more than I did on start. It's probably the whiplash between Immortalis and Invocatis that caused my initial reaction of 'Huh, this isn't as recognisable and unique'. Where Imomortalis is a track I would recognise right away anywhere, this isn't really until the 3rd part. Still, I think you're onto something, a few more key notes here and there. Have you ever tried an all male choir? It can convey a very lonely and solemn vibe that I think could be pretty unique. And yea, headphones of high quality bring out the song 100% more than my desk-boxes and certainly a laptop. I dunno if that is something that matters when you're composing though. People with bad hearing are also going to miss bits. :P
So did get this finished in time for the weekend, enjoy all :) when part 3 is out will think of putting them altogether with some narration

@@massimus9360 a good point well made :)

That was definitely the subtle arc that this is going for

From the smallest of embers....
They should just switch him off already, let him be reborn
For The Emperor, for The Empirium of Man, and for The Von Valancius Dynasty.
For papa
Ave Imperator!
🙌
Lovely. Praise the master of mankind!
thanks 🙌
All hail Big E!!!
🙌
The point you hear the screams made my skin craw...
😊
Stunning! You truly did capture the sadness of His state beautifully. Can't wait for part 3 :)
Part 3 is hopefully shaping up to be a worthy conclusion
*Ave Imperator Dominus!*

Or the third option is his collective souls screaming in agony, that is upto you guys to decide haha
*revives* ok I'm back! what's happened since I been gone *sees the emperor and the imperium in it's current state*....oh....*weeps rivers of sadness*
Imagine the rage that would come after however 😈
