    I appreciate your existence. I'm not creative enough to come up with these myself but I am enthusiastic enough to lead them.

    And this is why it's sometimes hard to convince people that my church isn's a sect 😂😂 Love it!

    My 4th graders are in love with Wa. They ask to play as a brain break all of the time!!! I told them that you had this super challenging game that usually fails with elementary students (Kumja) and they wanted the challenge. They are really good at it and have lots of laughs with the Toki section. Thank you so much for sharing these games with us.

    Students and teacher are having with as a circle.
    Like in the middle, we hear the work Toki, Kumja, and Wa many times.
    It looks like this is an enthusiastic game.

      That’s great! I honestly have mixed success with that one, but if you’ve got advanced students they can do it!

    I've 100% played Kumja with large groups of elementary school kids and they love it

      Ashley R. It can work, but teaching it to large groups of elementary kids who have never played has been tough. They have to already know the game I’ve found. I’d keep it under 20 for sure, too.

    My crew got really good, even with elimination mode, and we added another layer around the toki toki, which says EEPIE EEPIE. I believe we tried with a 4th layer and failed. When you have huge groups of kids (that are familiar with the game) it gets really fun.

    Some guys in school actually when they did the Kumja game they said the person that was the bunny said bunny bunny
    (2x) while the people on each side of the bunny said Carrot Carrot in halftime of the bunny bunny. I wonder if that would've worked in the Kumja game

    oh, I like wa. I'm going to try to change it into a name game. So instead of wa it will say the name of the person you are pointing to and the ones on the side repeat. I hope it works

    Kumja has been around a while at least since 1997 in Pohang Korea....The character passed is not bunny, it's toki.....To the left and right of the toki....people said "tangun" which is carrot and they swung their arms like popeye walking....everyone else said ....la..la...la and flapped their arms like a chicken....Just saying....

    When you say large group, about how many people in the group do you mean? Hoping to implement this during youth tonight!

    • @YouthMinistryGreatGames
      @YouthMinistryGreatGames  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Typically a small group game is 12 or less, sometimes up to 20. Kumja I like to keep small because it's difficult to learn and with a larger group, it only gets more difficult. Large group games can be over 20 to 100, or sometimes even more!
