+Ty McDonald I think Slappy's kind of a mixed bag (And I say this as someone who considers him one of the best, coolest characters Stine has ever created). He certainly has his scary moments (i.e. when he nearly crushes a 3 year old girl's hand in "Night of the Living Dummy 2," when he tries to make another little girl his "bride" in another book, etc.), but he also has some funny moments (i.e. the scenes when he insults people during ventriloquist acts) that somewhat lessen his menace. I could see him and Chucky being pals.
