WG usually thinks 1 step forwards, and then 100 steps back with tanks like these. The fact that this can face Tier 6/7's is a serious brain-fart.
its should be obvious that they should ban this tank from meeting tier 6, since non of them can pen a damn thing 'except the small fucking lowerplate' + THE FUCKING TANK CAN ONE SHOT MOST OF TIER 6. this is insane and a no brainer that who ever made this doesn't know a damn thing about this game or alteast he is not passionate about.
Why would they care when they make insane amounts of money? Even those who complain keep spending money. Businesses don't care about empty complaints, they care about money.
@@narukami597 I kinda agree with you but if we think about this way, if they keep doing this it will definitely ruin their future income since most of players are quitting world of tanks in each update they make. So if u ask me would u rather make a broken tank, sell it and make instant decent amount of money but the income will decrease later (since no players no game) or actually make the game balanced and fun for everyone which will provide a decent stable good income for the game to live for a long time and a non toxic fair environment for players which will definitely attract more players which will eventually lead to more income. So once again, there is no way to explain nor justify this act of creating the Bz-176. wargaming simply put messed up this one so bad.
@@amineharimech3753 My point is that people should vote with their wallet. Instead of complaining and keep spending at the same time like hopeless addicts. As for whether releasing bz was a good financial decision for wg overall, their experts sure must have looked into it both before and after the release. If they sell it again or sell a new op tank in the coming christmas event, that means it worked out for them. Hopefully not but we as customers could make sure they regret it by not spending.

My only T8 HT back then was WZ Alpine Tiger with 175 pen..and yes Defender was OP

Remember when the E-100 had 235 pen on its 750 alpha rounds in order to "balance" that amount of damage. And that was on a tier 10 heavy.
When a tank makes more base xp than a tank playing against an intire afk team you know someone messed up
well, perhaps this afk team was only tier8 or lower, and the hwk (as quicky told) was shooting not in close range
Yeah I've done that in a tech tree tank before.
The biggest issue with the tank is it could be at tier 9 and still look like one of the better heavies in the lineup.
It does more damage then the tier 10 techtree tank. So you also say its pretty nice in a tier 10 line up.

I lit miss the old maps becuase screw the pos reworks and the maps that were removed with I don't get they either remove good maps or change them completely and smack it with a identical name and after they started to remove stuff like mountain climbing though invisible walls or removing fun glitches and my opinion things went down hill ever since ebr came into the game after that the game just went into the dirt for fun its just sad
He doesn't mean maps. The balance in the game has been completely disrupted. There is no balance between tanks. The problem is not the map. Didn't you read the comments?

YES, 100%...that or they need 2 versions of the game...one for 2017 and prior, and the other for post 2017. so many tanks from the old days that are just junk and unplayable now.

2:00 also the FV 4005 or 215b 183 don't have nearly the armor of the BZ176 nor the mobility of the BZ176 (with boosters).... nor do they have a fully rotating turret....
I think the closest tech tree tank to the BZ176 is the derp type 4. However type 4 is a tier higher, with worse premium HE and gun handling.

FV and 183 also lose a lot of penetration vs AP.

BZ 176 is like Type 5 H with 150 mm gun, but how someone mentioned there , Type 5 H, TIER 10 , have only 190+ pen on gold he , instead 230+ on BZ
Like term's of Damage and reload , yes , Almost same , term's of armor , well , Type 4 and Type 5 H are almost immune to AP and BZ have weak lower plate , problem starts with gold , Type 4 and Type 5 H have big issue with it , almost everything can pen them with gold , but BZ 176 , you load gold with 300+ pen , still you must aim weakspoints , because it won't pen
But what is my main problem with BZ 176 , same like with Cobra, is that, you don't have any chances to fight them back , because they just clap you for 800 , or Cobra will just clap you for 500 every second and you can't do anything about it
But for some reason, hull down Caliban is big problem for BZ 176 , and VK 168.01 P is problem too , two pretty weak tanks , and I don't had issues to fights BZs
And its much smaller, much better gun depression.
i wouldnt be surprised if in development stage it was supposed to have 2 shell auto loader like sheridan in mirny 13 but it was scrapped at last minute.

BZ-176 needs a buff, obviously, like a reserve track mechanic, because it runs on 4 tracks.
It needs an autoreloader. and 0.17 dispersion with 0.22 second aimtime.

The problem with BZ-176's lower plate is that it doesn't have one. It has lowest plate. Very different.

It's like the Bobject lower plate. There are two lower plates, the big one needs like 280+ penetration to go through while the lowest plate has around 190 mm of armor. This thing is bonkers op but tanks with decent armor all around them like VK 100.01 P and even IS-6 like Skill showed can do really well against it.
The lower, lower plate...And it's a sliver at that. Tricky to hit in brawling situation.
@@CMKseven If you have decent gun depression and your tank is tall, then the upper glacis is relatively easy to penetrate, around 200 mm of armor. In case you can't here then you have to try the cupolas. There aren't that many tanks able to do this though but the soviet heavies, particularly Defender and IS-6 can do very well because 225 HE penetration struggles to penetrate these tanks. IS-3 and IS-3A will suffer though. If your penetration is high like in the Torvagn, at least 285 pen, then butcher the turret cheeks with gold.
In the frontline i had the honor of playing against a defending team that had 15 of these right at the beggining... we had no chance. All 3 zones had tanks spawncamping the attackers and the bz-176 were making sure we had no chance to push back by taking half the hp of any tank that pushed out.
Fun fact, the BZ 176 hast the 4th highest alpha damage in the game and the highest of anything that's not a tank destroyer, arta and HE shells not included. AS A GODDAMN TIER 8 TANK.
Fun fact, BZ 178 has 4th highest caliber on non SPG tank , frst are Fv4005 , Death Start and Jag.PZ E100

The first time I played against this tank was a year ago in my Vipera, the guy penetrated me straight through my mid hull for 860 dmg. I was like - Is this real, how is that even possible?? The only good thing about Vipera is its armor, I barely played it since then.

Na. 30% luck, 35% skill, 35% OP. Hard to nail it down but that is close enough. But if you add luck + OP together it is 65%. So your not wrong. Just that WG p2w makes something 50%+ luck based more like 30% luck. And that is the hole point. Broken OP garbage. There is still clearly some skills and taking the luck based BS shots only good players try and exploit. Since people still playing with 50% crews or whatever have almost 0% chance to hit anything trying to do most of the BS shots taken in this video.

This trend of "OP premiums" did not started yesterday. That is the worst part. The thought that "it is not over yet" and sooner or later (year or half a year) WG wil add even more broken tank or sell it in loot boxes / shop. I really miss times when WG was adding more balanced premium tanks (often worse than tech tree tanks) but with preferential MM instead. It was less distractible for the game. But the WG's short sighted decision making caused a lot of players to leave the game and as for the new players... well... no one is coming it seems. The only "playable" part of the game left is around tier 5 when you don't get constantly ejected to fight BZ, T56, Object 703 IS-3A and the list goes on yech...

@@Nobody54545 Yeah... forgot about that lol. If that arty is in the opposite team - then it will make your live m miserable. But at least nowadays it is only 1 per team at worst. In the past you could have like 3 or 5 of those buggers, or worse - a whole joke platoon of 3X LefH that would focus you. Games with LefH can happen but it is significantly less frequent that games with OP premiums on tier 8+. One could argue that even if that arty will be in the opposite team, the game won't be as frustrating as trying to fight tier 8+ premiums with tech tree tanks or trying to do something against Chieftain or Ebola at tier 10.
Well, whenever i play t5, i always end up against Lefelelefefellelfe... The most disgusting arty of all time. WG does its best to ruin all the tiers.
My Iron Arnie (so far) has been able to just be immune to the BZ-176’s HE so whenever my team is facing one, I try to show my front armor and be as aggressive as I can so my team can deal with it easier

lock it to only be able to face tier 8, 9 and 10 and it wont face any lower tier vehicles. like a reverse preferential match making.

This tank combined with the Iron Arnie just make tier 8 gameplay an absolute grind. I'd honestly say it's worse than tier 6 & 7. At least there everyone is kind of stuck with crap tanks or comps. But going up against those two in Tech Tree Tanks (and a decent bit of premium ones too), shooting premium rounds just to watch them bounce is just soul destroying.
iron arnie isnt OP. and it definitely should never be talked about on the same level as the bz176... it has nowhere near the alpha of this thing, its slower, its DPS is terrible and so is its accuracy. did i mention its slow as fuck?? and unlike this joke of a tank, the iron arnie does in fact have legit weak points that can be realistically exploited by any moderately experienced player. i never see these things completely faceroll dominate like i do the bz 176. Is it good? yes. but its not OP. its just the only damn US medium tank that you can ACTUALLY rely on its fucking armor instead of being plaqued by tumors or stupidly large weak spots that render their "competatively high armor on paper" useless.

@@GERAT023 lol, fair enough. it does honestly bother me how they seem to like to unofficially shaft US tanks giving them "good armor" thats always followed but super expoitable weak spots. Meanwhile, they give russian tanks and literally ANY soviet imported tank "weak spots" that are near impossible to hit in comparison. or give them "low gun depression" but "COINCIDENTALLY" modify every map and its slopes and terrain in a way to where it makes it not matter. Every weakness of soviets has some kind of silver lining while every strength of US has some massive catch.
I think thats the primary reason i liked the iron arnie is that its the first med US tank that doesnt suffer that. but even still, its not rocketing around the map like many super speedy heavies nowadays that have more firepower, and more armor. (i wish i was speaking metaphorically here about 'rocketing' around but cant even do that now xD). honestly, its all become a joke now.

Does this tanks shells fly like howitzer rounds at long range like the calibans does? Because if not that would be one easy way to balance this thing. Make its shells lob through the air like the other big guns at tier 8.
thats not going to change a damn thing with this tank. people arent hanging in the back sniping behind a bush with this thing. what makes it so ridiculous is its ability to just yolo in front of the ENTIRE enemy heavy frontline, casually HALF someones health, and roll back just as casually without recourse. it requires absolutely no skill to play this tank. and as he pointed out, you cant even angle against this thing as its gun is so retardedlly big itll just overmatch pretty much everyone. at the end of the day, gimmicks like shell arc or accuracy really doesnt matter in this game. what matters the most is the same thing thats always mattered the most with tanks and thats two things: who has the more powerful gun, and who has the most armor. you have a tank with the best of both worlds, and there's not much they cant brute force their way through no matter how clever the enemy is.
@@honnorgaurd idk if you noticed but a bunch of the shots in this video were at decent range, if they were slow moving, arcing shells they would be a lot harder to hit with. It would definitely help make the tank worse at playing at long range which these things do occasionally play at.
@@kinghash29 it wouldnt matter enough to count. it just means someone would need to readjust their aim which wouldnt take much. russians have some of the most innaccurate guns in the game and look how well they perform. again, this tank is not a sniper. its a heavy duty brawler. and majority of this fight was him oblitorating the entire heavy line which. and THAT is where 90% of all the games in wot are decided.
It's like this on console too, so many op premium tanks now and the older one's that need buffs get left in the dust, they now have a tank with a flame thrower that cripples your tank by killing all modules and crew in seconds. Aka if it uses it on you it's game over you can't fight back.
With one hand wargaming gives us the BZ-176, and with the other gives us the Mittlerer Kpz 68. I do not understand where the balance is going 🤣

When we get EBR in game, i was joking that only thing WOT can do after EBR is introduce tanks with rockets. I wish it stay on joke. Tier 8 skirmish is imposible to win when you get 3-4, or more, BZ tanks against your team.

Its a tier 9 heavy with armoured medium speed, had a better derp gun than type five and is placed in tier 8.. just cause why tf not, if this tanks was placed in tier nine with one more round per minute it still would be the best tier 9 premium.. you know, the kind that they said "there never would be any of"
They should make the turret penable by high penertration prem rounds so it can't poke soo easily.

The difference between FV and the BZ is the premium rounds. FV gets more damage, but less pen. BZ gets both improved. BZ HE should have around 150mm pen maybe.

I love how back in "my" days the 252U/Defender was all the outrage we had when in the end it was only sealclubbin against 7s and 6s but often matched against 10s so it was good but nothing insane either.

I usualy farm them. Yeah sometimes I got hit by them but players becomes so overconfident in this tank that most of them just run into their death. But it heavily depends on the tank. Against heavily armored tanks the bz is almost completely useless.
Gun on this tank is so random. Sometimes you can hit a pixel shot but sometimes you will miss Maus in front of you.
And also they dont sell the bz in the year after loot boxes till when the loot boxes come back usually since they like to resell the bisonte and gsor on the last day or 2 on loot boxes after not being sold since their loot box the previous time so expect to see the bz to be sold again during the new loot box or the end
The main reason the BZ-176 is so op is because after the HE nefs WG made HE able to pen screens and obstacles unlike before where that usually set off the round
Nah that is not the main reason, it is just a small one of many.
Meanwhile low-pen HE does zero damage when it fails to pen the screen, even if the underlying armor is 1 mm thick.
I love terrorizing this tank when i play arty. I focus only them the whole match. Good times.

So many broken OP Premiums at Tier VIII already, then they added this scum tank. I was grinding the British heavy line when this tank was released and it was the most soul destroying time I've ever had in WoT. Once I got to Tier VI, there was at least 2 of these on the enemy team in every game. I ground it out to Tier IX, but eventually had enough. Uninstalled the game after over 6 years of playing and haven't been back since. I'm sure I'm not alone.

dude this is a hetzer at tier 8 with a turret, low tier players (like myself) got used to this shenanigans, but at tier 8 its not that uncommon to get 2-3 shot by an other tank, i guess this is the issue. Its op sure, but is it really more OP than like a matilda tier for tier? (I hate bz btw)
Well.....the E25 wasn't sold for a very long time....and then,one day...
I feel far better when I stopped playing wot, no more stressed out and being always iritated. Saw this video, then got convinced again that it was the right decision.
For 100 EUR last Christmas, i got all 4 premiums + couple of little ones, 60.000 gold, and bunch of premium time. In fact, i still havent spend it, i still have gold, and didnt spend 1 cent after new year, and got 100 days of premium time left.
and now there is a new trade in event though
It‘s pretty much clear what WG is thinking. They are selling the Turtle after even they must have noticed how the buff changed it. That’s no accident. Maybe they have to pay Arnold and Chuck this Christmas? 😉

I've never seen a BZ-176 do more than 3k in my matches.
concider youreself EXTREMELY LUCKY. most in my matches carry their teams pretty hard. you have to also understand something most gamers always seem to struggle to understand.... everyones always obsessed with who does more damage but its not always just about how much damage you do... its also how much you take for your team. every shell that an enemy is bouncing off this thing is damage not being applied to its team. a bz 176 could do 0 damage in a fight but if 80% of the enemy is focusing that tank for the first 5 minutes of the game and not doing damage while your team is melting them, then he's more than done his part. when half an enemy team is wasting shots like this, it will very quickly result in a domino affect that will snowball alarmingly fast. I see it happen all the time with tanks like this. and you kinda have to focus these things down you dont have a choice. NO TEAM can afford to let something with firepower of that magnitude stick around for long you just cant.
you have to also consider the fear factor this tank brings to the table and how much an impact psychologically it has on players. it really has no business having this kind of alpha damage in a tier 8 level but it does... and when one of these bastards rolls up on your side of the map, it tends to make people.... play alot differently... then they otherwise would. it just has that affect naturally and who can blame them? no one wants to see half their health disappear in one shot like that. and sometimes, throwing players off their game like that and making them play abnormally than how they usually would play is sometimes all that is needed to gain an edge.
Even kids, exception WG, could expect what happen after adding such OP tank.

This tank was the last brick in a wall that stopped me playing WoT after 10 years and about 1400€ spent in the game. Maybe I come back if they fix this and some other "misstakes" someday in some way.
