Hi Melina I LOVE your videos!!!! I started cash stuffing a few months ago and I got excited ordering my cash envelopes and the SAME thing happened to me. They were warped, wrinkled I hated them. I waited a few weeks and ordered from a different shop and SAME THING. I was so embarrassed I had planned to start documenting my cash stuffing and didn’t want to do it anymore. I created my own placeholders (look similar to yours lol) and ordered evnvelioes from Amazon but I didn’t want to show them because it’s not the “aesthetic” cash stuffing method everyone uses 🙄🤦🏻♀️ I know it sounds dumb but it’s my truth. So when I watched this video I got so excited again. Thanks for sharing!!! 🤍🤍🤍

Interesting, I did quite a bit of research and couldn’t find anything before taking on the idea to make them. With your comment, I went to check and I’m unsure of where you found that, because she only makes cash denomination placeholders. Not categories like mine 😄

Love the new category placeholders. 💙 I currently do something similar but with cardstock. It's great because the envelopes work great and you can easily change the category when you're needs change.

Those are the envelopes I use after my vellum laminates failed as well. One caveat - do not put anything with adhesive on them even post-it notes...it never comes off completely. Love the new system ❤

👍🏻 I am fairly new to cash stuffing. I loved the look of the matte laminated envelopes, watched a lot of videos on creating them. I do paper crafting so already had most of the things needed except matte laminating pouches. Got those. Did a bunch of categories that are custom to me, but I didn’t love making them. ☹️ Usually once I figure something out, it’s getting the rhythm down and I like doing it. So, I’ve been looking for a better way. I have some of those soft PVC envelopes from Amazon too that I got at first. And I’ve seen other PVC envelopes on some different channels that look a little sturdier, so to speak. So, I was thinking of doing the same thing you’ve done, but feel I need to get my money’s worth out of the laminated envelopes first!!😂😂 I will be shopping your shop!
Hello! It’s such a process for sure, the look of the envelopes is very nice but they just don’t stand the test of time 😅 I look forward to sending you an order when the time is right 🫶🏼
@@MelinaBrunson I’m on your Etsy sight now placing an order! I’m so glad you are doing this and enjoy doing it, I apparently don’t have the bandwidth for making place holders either! I tried the other day, just not my wheelhouse.😂😂😂 I will be replacing all of my envelopes with your custom option eventually and adding new categories too. You know, got to budget for them!😂😂 I will need some denomination place holders also, perhaps, at some point you could offer a bundle on those? But, I realize everything evolves as time permits. I have been looking at doing some kids wallets for my granddaughters (A7 or A8 size) with envelopes for them to budget their money and spend like when we go out, for a treat, or drink, or maybe a Target envelope. I want them to realize if they don’t have the cash in their wallets, that Grammy or mom or dad isn’t an endless bank, and maybe think twice and check their funds. I ordered some kids savings challenges from another Etsy shop, so I hope it can instill some good habits early. There isn’t a lot out there for kids, maybe that’s a direction you could look into as your business grows. I know, I’m too wordy!😂😂 But I do really enjoy your channel.

Oh girl it never ends lol. I have 3 boys, 9 and twins 7. When i stuff I do evenly. I'm a single mom so I do mom and son date so they each have their own mommy time.
