Adam, I know you put a lot of hours in on the water. What's really nice to see is your exuberance at the about the opportunity to after your target species, even if it takes an additional day. That's love for the sport and real professionalism!
We do get White sea bass down here in SoCal. That is a really big one you got! Especially from a kayak! I love the feeling of a fish towing you around - reminds us that we may not be kings of the water out there!
What a catch👍👍👍👍👍! The sea lions from the background are cheering Adam while he was reeling in the lunker🙂. That's my favorite fish to eat if I ever fine one. My wife and I had some in a restaurant in Morro Bay Ca. many moons ago.
Just canceled my amazon order, ordered using your link and code, and saved about $56! I've been wanting an underwater camera and this has all the features i wanted; 1) connects through bluetooth so i can see it live 2) waterproof for a good depth versus other cameras 3) wireless charging is a bonus feature thats just brilliant 4) sealed design so it won't break like other brands. Everything is done wirelessly so no opening up to retrieve a sim card or to charge it 5) has sound! Planning to put in one of my promar lobster hoop nets so i can record and see when lobster get in there and also see what else the bait attracts😂.
That was ridonkulous!!! I really enjoyed your stunned silence when they first buzzed the yak on day one... we could see those gears turning. I also saw you looking over your shoulder at that boat... maybe it was the "meet me at the ramp bros." Hahaha
The fish that were around you the first day were probably just as catchable. Too bad you weren't ready with the swim bait while iron was overcast. You made up for it the 2nd day though with a monster. Looked like a Disneyland ride there for awhile when being towed by the fish. That big one is going to be hard to beat. Thanks for taking us along on another adventure ❤
Epic WSB! Congratulations on the nice catch. I live in Mendocino county and may head down there this weekend. Looking forward to the Panama footage. Be well.
Adam, I was wondering could you superimpose a running time stamp on you video so we can see how much time is spent doing all the different tasks that take place while you are fishing, catching, trolling etc. Thanks. 👍
Watching that battle brought back memories!!! I was fishing for king salmon in my canoe and I caught 2 in the mid 20 lb range on 12 lb test line. Each fish took more than 20 minutes and 8-10 minutes was the fish hanging out right below me in like 10-15 feet. I could feel them pulling with their tail. It was intense! The next day I came out with 30 lb braid and it took 10 minutes for my next fight! A lot faster!!!
I didn’t know they had these in Northern Cal. In San Diego they were planting them to see if they could build a viable stock. Never heard what happened. Guess they moved north like me.
I always have an emergency surface iron and yo-yo for just that situation… diamond jigs from Walmart can be your weight or a lure and are another great option in a pinch.. 🍻
Me and my dad love watching your videos and live in the Bay Area, we were wondering where you launch your kayak because it looks so calm and wherever we launch it’s always rough
@@DieHardFishing from what I recall in your video that’s about what you guesstimated it at. I think you said about 30 pounds from what I remember? Nice fish! I’ve caught hundreds of WSB from shore…. zero legals so far! Lost a for sure keeper at a pier down here 7-8 years ago. Had him to the surface for over a minute. Keep making your very entertaining and informative videos Adam!
Adam,I’m living in the bay too,and i was a striper fisherman for years, with my pb was 55inches 50lber striper from shore!i wanna catch a wsb so bad!i hope i will able to get 1 like u!nice fish brother!
Hey Adam, well done on the white Seabass my biggest was about 55 inches. Fun fish caught it in front of Catalina and goat harbor spent the night in there and they come in there at night during the night and was just goofing around and caught it so it was kind of funby the way, what kayak do you like best I see you is the one with the motor and then I see you use the E when they call it the EPEL old town which one do you like best die hard fish all the way, baby
What a super fine catch!! You were spot on about getting and using that swim bait. I remember, "way back", you and the "SCZ surfcaster" slaying them near kelp beds.
Thyar fish didnt look like a seabass...it looked like a a spotted weakfish without the spots. The sea bass that I've caught further north look a lot different.
Adam, you are by far the best fisherman from your NoCal youtuber group. Your instincts and approach to targeting and catching are spot on. Nice job!!!
I agree with this statement.

Nice catch Adam. Those wsb are good eatin' too. Thanks for taking us along for the ride.
Thanks for taking us along! Great fish!!
Massive fish from the kayak. Nice one!
Big thanks

I have to say you and Outdoor Chef life are the best fishing channels on TH-cam.
The two of you should definitely try doing some collab videos.
Adam said “I aint ‘fraid of no ghost!!!” 😂 Nice catch!!!
Awesome catch! It was huge. To quote a famous movie, “you’re gonna need a bigger boat!” 😂
Oh man! That trip back to the car really paid off!!! 🎣 Great fish!
You got that right!

Awesome video and what a great stalk, fight and catch brother WSB!!!🙏🏼👊🏼
Wow, 30 lb test. That’s a lot of finessing.
Awesome catch! Congrats!
You Make Me Smile N Frown….
I’m a jealous, Jellyfish 🪼
Awesome video. Better than watching an action movie. Thank you!
Adam the real Ghost Buster

Diehard with another great video! Awesome job bro💪
You can see something big swim by around 1:35
Beautiful fish Adam. Congrats!
Mondo of a Fish! Cool to see that reel is battle tested..
Fantastic video, great job on the stalk
What a beauty! Congratulations!
Adam looks like he just saw a ghost. 🙂

What a fight! Nice touch with the music too!
You already had the perfect lure tied on, I have nailed tons of Seabass on a chrome krocodile, they usually crush it on the drop.
Good to know!
Nice fish man! 🤜💥🤛
WOW!!!........fantastic video and catch!!
Thank you very much!
Dang, Adam!! Nice WSB! That's one fish I wanna hook into!
Thanks chris!
Epic WSB! Congratulations on the nice catch. I live in Mendocino county and may head down there this weekend. Looking forward to the Panama footage. Be well.
Good luck!
Great catch Adam.
1 and done I'm with that! You catch a fish like that you need a photo shoot and text images of it to everyone in your phone!
Holy cow! Score!!! Nice work Adam ;-)
Awesome Adam!
Thanks for posting; curious, how do you transport the big WSB back in to shore? And, how do you cook the fillets?
What lb test main line/leader is good for wsb?
1lb
30-40 pound leader is pretty standard I believe
@@DieHardFishing thanks! Congrats on your seabass the vid and fight was epic!
Right out of Pillar Point nice. That is a BIG ONE!

Thanks. 👍
Thats a good idea!

Get that ghost printed and mounted on your wall. Maybe next street faire, sell prints of your epic catches.
Not a bad idea!
Damn brother! I’m jealous😅.. nice White Sea Bass… 😊 awesome video Adam . 🤙
You literally looked like you saw a ghost 😂. You had me worried for a minute. Just in time for Halloween.
Awesome fish.
That is freaking awesome! Congrats
awesome catch!
Wow that's a beauty!
You legit looked like you saw a ghost - cos you did. Never seen that expression on you lol anyway...WHAT a fish. Slay 'em Adam!
Yeah it was wild!
Every time i see you catching fish in my neck of the woods makes me want to get out there. Been awhile, but anyway good fish 🤙
Sweet "Sea-Biscuit"!
This area looks super similar to Monterey. I’ve never seen sea bass out there though. Could just be my bad luck🥲
Seabass are super elusive. One day they are in one place, the next they could be completely gone!
I always have an emergency surface iron and yo-yo for just that situation… diamond jigs from Walmart can be your weight or a lure and are another great option in a pinch.. 🍻
Great tip!
Awesome catch. Can you try to mount a gopro on a pole behind and above you facing forward?
Not a bad idea!
thats a nice fish congrats..

AS always we appreciate the view 😍😍😍
Beautiful fish ,nice job
Very nice! Congrats!
You are good, the best, brother, good fish
Great job, Adam. Hope I get one soon.
Nice Ghost! Please post the weight soon.
It ended up weighing 32 pounds

Impossible!!! Look at the size of that fish!!! Nobody else could have done it except you!!! That kayak coupled with your experience!!! Impossible!!!
Rod? - I have that same reel, love it !
That is a custom rod I am working on designing. It might be available for sale in the next year or two!
Wow! Big!

Damn. Nice freakin fish.
That is one on my list
I was scared you were going to double up with that squid! One time I hooked into 2 sharks and had to pick a pole and wish the other pole good luck!
That would have been epic!
nice fish Adam. What did it weigh? looks close to 40lb. to me
White sea bass is one of the best eating fish in the ocean. How do I find where you set up to sell to public?
Unfortunately I only sell halibut for now. Seabass fishing isn't consistent enough to target them exclusively.
Thanks for sharing
So sick

I like both of those kayaks! Each has its own benefits and drawbacks. The biggest difference is the EPLD is faster and the Autopilot is more stable.
you know the fish is big when its a fish and its big.
What a super fine catch!! You were spot on about getting and using that swim bait. I remember, "way back", you and the "SCZ surfcaster" slaying them near kelp beds.
I was in the same area not too long ago and found a school. I freaked out and almost forgot to toss a swim bait out
Going into fall what wetsuit do you wear?
Proper Cubera's don't live in Africa. Its an African Brown Snapper (Lutjanus Dentatus), very closely related.
Do they hit topwater?
I'm not sure!
Holy!
Ghostbuster in october, sweet. Check For tags and save the stones
That's a nice cow
Thyar fish didnt look like a seabass...it looked like a a spotted weakfish without the spots.
The sea bass that I've caught further north look a lot different.
its like watching the home shopping network QVC.
Hey, great fish but we cannot see you catching it. Can you turn your camera around?
It doesn't take many like that to make a dozen.
What kind of trolling motor are using
It is a minn kota trolling motor designed specifically for that kayak
Pelvic fins. That was the name you were trying for.
White sea bass (corvina) used to be very common in Southern California.
@@thomasneal9291 still are! 🤦♂
Thank you!
Hell yeah!!
I'm guessing thirty eight what a fish
Are you a Canadian
Where's this place what boat launch?
Two minutes in: what happened… FAFO: fall asleep and find out. Zoning, man…
Where is this?
These bots are getting out of hand... lol
