Anyone else who doesn’t read Greek, this appears to be the port on the island of Syros. Wow, what a busy place , Fascinating! 40+ years ago I queued up on a wharf in Corfu to put my camper on a ferry to Italy, It arrived 6 hours late at 3.00am, then departed, with us onboard, in the wrong direction ! It was only then we found out it’s was actually 3 weeks late ! Fond memories of that wonderful country .
After watching the videos showing the large cruise ships banging into docks, bridges, and each other, I have to admire the obvious experience and expertise of these ferry captains who obviously know their stuff! If I ever need to hire someone to drive a big boat, I think I know where I would look, and it ain't the cruise ship industry!
What is the name of this place and jetty from where people are boarding and alighting.... And where are they going with their cars. Seen this in Japan long ago.
I am from Syros but usually work elsewhere, although the moment i hear these guys shouting i know it's good to be back home! Glad you enjoy your time here ;)
