Jen gets this started always, with her energy and laugh, she's not crazy..she's funny, and her positive energy is infectious ;) That is a Beautiful '56, and those early to mid 50's just have that unique sound, a voice all their own. Would have liked to hear a bit of it just clean, perhaps w/a bit of reverb though.
Now that's a vintage guitar , over 60 years old and still kicks out some EVH , looks like a classic , sounds like a classic , Strats are so nice to play , they just feel right , and they are so versatile , Lemmo never ceases to amaze and it's just all the better on such a classic instrument. It doesn't seem to matter if you're on top of the world, or having just a shit day, when it comes to the guitar that joy and reverence just beams out of you. This was no doubt an extremely expensive guitar, and you could literally see the awe in your eyes when you picked it up. It is that obsession and passion that made you the obvious choice when Mark left, and no disrespect to Mr. Agnesi, but your playing is other worldly!! Thanks for igniting a spark in my dusty old soul that makes me pick up my rickety bass and thump away an hour or so, and feel good about being a beginner at 52 and loving it!! Dude. This is the best lemmo GOTD to date. I love the pedals. I love the looper. I love the new that has he brought. But I missed the vintage stuff along with a little history lesson and rundown of spec on the guitar that mark was so good at. This was the best combination of the old and the new. Loved it
A D on YT correct - but guitar channels aren’t multi-million sub channels, and compared to ‘reality’, personality cults and annoying kids’ channels - we are kind of niche. MusicIsWin” is around 700k, Premier Guitar 400k etc. it’s roughly the same viewership as hobby topics like woodworking. So who/what is doing better - is there a guitar channel with over 1M subs? I don’t mean pop music channels. If there is I haven’t found it so shoot me the links.
