Me too!! I consider it as a complaint of a gopika about Shri Krishna...the way Shobha ji sings "Saawariya" in different tonal variations, it simply is an ode to the divine...with such love and devotion.

@@freelife2346 this is not maithali. stop fooling people. I am a native hindi speaker and this is clearly Hindi not Maithali or Bhojpuri or Bengali. Infact the complete language is a mix of Hindi and Braj Bhasha subsect of Hindi. Braj Bhasha is spoken in West UP near Mathura and is preferred langauge for writing songs about Lord Krishna. Words like "Tose", "Mohe", "Mosey", "Piya" are used in Braj Bhasha.

The song and hindustani classical music style is from Uttar Pradesh but yes the singer , Shobha ji was professionally trained in classical music style of Uttar Pradesh especially Thumri which originates from Varanasi and is being used in this song as well . You should also listen to Girja Devi and Malini Awasthi. They are legends of Uttar Pradesh's music.
Also to avoid your confusion you should learn more about Carnatic Music which actually comes from the South.
