This was indeed an amazing video. Keep up the good work! Indie films from fans showing their love of Star Wars never ceases to surprise me. We all as fans have such a fine adoration for these films. This was very nicely done, the dueling was perfectly on par, the camera guy knew his stuff to a tee, and everything just beautifully melded together. Perfect!

I'm about to reach my first one hundred subscribers!
Also I will try to make a video over spring break. If I don't it is because I am spending time with my family. =)

What were the saber blades made from?

I believe most of them were made from aluminum lacrosse sticks... and I'd sawed off the net part of the stick. Then taped it up for visibility and extra durability. (it hurts a little less getting hit when it's wrapped in tape as well)

How did you make your prop sabers?

      Hey Man,
It's simple but complicated. Honestly, I was thinking of making a little video series (or one long video) this summer breaking down how we made these movies and how you can make them, showing how we did the effects, the shots, props, etc.
Basically, the sabers are plumbing parts for the handle, and then the shaft of a lacrosse stick covered in tape.
