i heard people complained that the story and plot were generic, but i really like the writing style in which they were told. this was the first book i read from this author but it made me a fan.

honestly i like him as a character because he has so much foil capacity while being a main character. i just want to teach him a good lesson for the things he did to shen qiao. very frustrating character but deep at the same time.
You know, at first I gust saw anime, and I was shocked, when in the last serie Yan Wushi was damaged by other grandmasters. I thought he was dead! But then I found a novel, and now I can say that it's the best Chinese novel ever!

@@yanxiaohan608 i agree. wushang is very light in the genre while keeping them coherent. people who read it first and then read qian qiu said that qian qiu felt more cloggy but i am the opposite of them and when i read wushang i felt the opposite way. i like wu shuang a lot but as a hardcore wuxia fan, qian qiu makes a more deeper impression to me.

Cuz Yan Wushi is always there to keep things at grasp especially when we readers read too much to digest, Lao Yan will be to speed things up haha. Theres alot to keep in mind of what happened before and this and that. The first 30+ chapters kept repeating the fact that Shen Qiao got betrayed by Yu Ai, it was actually kinda annoying trigger for me, cuz it kept on repeating it lol. Also, for me, since I read Qianqiu first then Wushuang, I generally felt Wushuang is straight forward plot, maybe to me is easier to understand. As if the water flows along the way, the plot streams along with it.
