Most Koreans are kind to strangers and hospitable; however, there's a whole lot of evil on the Korean peninsula. Unfortunately on either sides of the DMZ, the respective Korean governments have adopted the most extreme versions of foreign systems and ideologies to base their countries systems of government on. North Korea has adopted the most oppressive type of Stalinist government, which is now based exclusively on the dynastic dictatorial doctrines introduced by Kim Il Sung; Juchae. South Korea on the other hand has a government and society that has taken full on the extremes and excesses of capitalism and all of the debt and societal problems that entails. South Korea is much better than North Korea though misogyny is still very strong and prominent in South Korea.
