    How could I create an average score for each student as a new column?

      If you're looking for a number that has the average score for each student, you can just remove the students and use AVG([Score]) to get the average score.
      If you're looking to put the class average score in a new column in the example with all the individual student names and scores, you'll need to use a fixed level of detail calculation, but with no levels (i.e. one that calculates across the whole dataset). I have a video on fixed LOD calculations, but TH-cam won't let me link to it.
      The final calculation will look something like this {FIXED : AVG([Score])}
