Now, if you're after longer battery life, there's only a slight capacity boost for this model vs the previous Classic. It'll just about last two days if you don't go too crazy. There's two sizes for the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic, 43mm and 47mm and I have the bigger one - perfect for my Twiglet wrists! That larger one has a bigger 1.5" screen and a bigger battery, but otherwise it's pretty much the same specs.
You've got Wear OS 4 on there, with Samsung's own OneUI for Watch tweaks on top. The Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 Classic is a premium smartwatch with a gorgeous Super AMOLED screen, tough stainless steel casing and sapphire glass. So far that Exynos chipset seems quite nippy, despite some early jitters - I'll be testing further for my full review.

Good to see the 47 mm size on a small wrist. I was afraid it will be too big for mine too, so ended up ordering normal watch 6 44 mm and I am glad I did that.
I couldn't give a damn. I'm not insecure enough to care so I go big on my small wrists.

Yeah im a girl so I have naturally smaller wrist than u guys, but love classic more than normal gw6. At first I wanted to preorder 47mm but I think that would be a huge fucking miss if I did that 💀

@@parshakamarsh It's awful on the GW4 Classic but on my Galaxy Watch from 2019 and Galaxy S3 Frontier I can get 3 days with all features enabled. Cannot do that on the GW 4 Classic.

when was this promotion? They were not giving the watch 6 classic with S23 series, last I checked during pre-orders.
@@maxborn7400 In the Netherlands, if u add the watch to the s23 order, you get a discount. Same probably goes if u order the foldables and watch together u get some discount. Discount is still going on.
@maxborn7400 it just ended yesterday. You could get these watches cheaper if you bought any other new samsung mobile product.
@@marchedgie6838 we didn't have it here then. S23 series wasn't getting the deep discount for Galaxy watch 6. I got it for around 300 with discounts and promos. Already had the S23U so didn't need a new phone.

I got an Honor GS3 3 weeks ago, the battery hasn't been charged since I got it, and it's on 41%. I had a gear S2 for years and I loved it, I didn't love it's one day battery.
Among the smart watch makers. My favorite is Samsung. Their watches are stylish and functional. Syncing with the Samsung ecosystem makes it great. I prefer the regular version over the Classic because of it. both elegant and fashionable

What about wrist gestures for scrolling the notifications like the older wear OS have. On my TicWatch 3 it's superb. Especially on bike.
HR sensor on my watch 5 is wildly inaccurate (over counts) while biking/ running. Is watch 6 using any better HR sensor?
I got the Watch 5 Pro, and the Watch 6 with the bigger screen, bezel, and the small hardware improvements sounds much better.
Can't wait for it to arrive.

@@williamg7138 I got my Watch 6, however, I would say the battery life is similar, if not better. In fact, my Watch 5 Pro has less battery life, but it is older so the battery capacity may have decreased over time.

I wonder if this is a staggered release or if my entire country just decided to ignore the launch date. They've been available since last week here. I wish they had an in-between size. The 47 feels a bit large on my wrist, but on the other hand my old eyes wouldn't like to go all the way down to the smaller screen size.
@@mascot4950 it seems that in the US they do not hit stores until the 11th. The watch was announced on my birthday (26 Jul) I ordered it the next day. The 47mm face will be sweet as my 4 is 46mm. I love the large face and have had no issues seeing anything on my G4 classic; the G6 has more pppi and a 2000 nit display so that will be a nice upgrade as well.
@@AaronWesson The classic is "artificially" large in that the actual display is the same size as the 44mm non-classic. But there's no way I'd go for the version without the bezel, even if that would likely have been a better fit for me.

i have the Classic 4 46mm, but i am a bit disappointed with the battery life of the 6 classic, dont know if i should upgrade or wait for the 7
nice watch ..bought it a couple days ago .. it hold battery well if you disable "display all the time" settings .. hate charger ..should be direct usbc charging

Was nicely surprised by my husband buying me one of these as an early birthday present. Excitement turned to tears when the device kept hanging and rebooting. Samsung support confirmed there is a known issue with the watch, and a patch will be out in... October. They've offered to send a replacement so I'll see how I get on. Took the shine off it a bit, though.

Does it only take an hour to charge with the ( double speed ) quick charger ? Does Samsung wall wart need to be 25 watts size ? Can I use ADB to remove apps ( aka. Bixby ) ?
I just upgraded from the Watch 5 44mm to the Watch 6 Classic 47mm Silver. With trade in and student discount, it came up to £155! So it was a no brainer.
Hiya ive purchest the galaxy watch 6 classic black 47m. As with yours. I've had to order a metal strap as I can only go to the second hole on strap
Maybe ok if living in a country where the ECG function etc is approved and not blocked. Also do you need a Samsung phone with the health app or can it be used with other makes with an app with the same full functionality?

I’m a woman with a small wrist actually about 5.75” and I ordered the 47mm for eyesight reasons. It comes tomorrow so I hope I like it. I had no intention of buying it except my 5 all of a sudden got a yellow screen I couldn’t get rid of. It’ll blink the normal screen for a split second then turn yellow. So I did a trade in and got a new one. I’m glad to get the bezel back. I have missed it.

worth noting regarding being on "the last hole of the strap...." That is a M/L strap. You can still put a S/M band on the 47mm, and that would probably help a lot.
I believe with LTE you dont need to pay any extra for the ESIM, It could sync and use DATA from your phone package after the first set up.

I actually have the same one. Traded the s3 for $125 credit in US. Frontier is great but this is a bigger screen and you get wearos vs tizen

Hi, can you compare the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic with the Ticwatch Pro 5? Which one is recommended to buy? I do not own a Samsung Phone but a One Plus 10 pro so that §CG and Blood Pressure are not that relevant for me.
Ticwatch is Chinese cheap crap. Samsung watches are miles better

You mention "...snorkling or whatever." That'd be surface snorkling with your snorkel above sea level. It's 30 min, shallow waters, so swimming for a short bit is OK, and it's not covered by warranty.

Hmm, I was interested until the battery life, I've still use a Gear S3 Classic I got 6 years ago and that can still last more then a day. (it does play up from time to time requiring me to power it off and on though)
This is my first smart watch and... yeah, it's not great. Although I'm not too fussed about charging it daily, I'm more worried about how quickly that racks up the charge cycles and kills the battery. I've gotten over five years out of my current phone, and that thing is off at night and rarely used, so it spent most of its life being charged every few days. If the durability of the watch battery is about the same, I wouldn't expect much more than two years out of it.

1. Charge it in before you take a shower in the morning
2. Go to work
3. Charge it in the afternoon for sleep tracking
is it have heart rate on display face ( real time) same Fitbit and Garmin or i need to open app to see my heart rate ???
There are many watchfaces that can have widgets on them and you can see your heart rate continuously if you switch on the continuous monitoring , but keep in mind that the continuous monitoring will drain the battery.
I've ordered one but I'm interested to see if they have fixed the overheating when there's a poor mobile signal on the lte version. I've got 2 galaxy watches now and both do it

It has verry laggy scrolling. Why is that? Maybe they will fix with a software update? But it seems like cpu+gpu is doing bad for that increase of pixels
It was warming up. After a few days it should settle down.
@@pixelgaming7261 that shouldn't affect it. A freshly set up Apple Watch doesn't lag at all, and while I know wearOS isn't quite as optimized as WatchOS, it isn't that far behind either. My Galaxy Watches all lag when going through menus.

Does the late version use more battery of you do not have a plan and just use it as bluetooth?
BT will always use way way way less battery than LTE connection. LTE was murdering my galaxy 4 battery in about 8-10 hours and I would usually get 28-32 hours with BT and AOD on.
performance on the watch 4 and 5 was the biggest annoyance for me, glad they improved it even though the animations could get some work to look better.
Are the galaxy watch 3 22mm bands compatible with this watch???

Classic is supposedly 10% faster because of slightly upgraded processor AND the classic is just an all around slick ash sexy tactical looking watch with bezel
