Without more context I’d say this whole extended family is just a mess. Probably 99% of teens are going to be bitter and angry with one or both parents when going through a divorce. In her eyes, dad abandoned her by not trying harder and now he’s gone. Dad admittedly said mom has been filling her head with shit, but not once mentioned fighting parental alienation petitions with the court to try and help things. No mention of therapy. And then when he cut her off, he hurt her as much as possible with his words. She is a literal child. One who is hurting and being manipulated. Dad failed her. I understand he is hurting too, but he’s the adult and her father. It’s his responsibility to help her be happy and healthy. Daughter could’ve handed shit better for sure, but it’s Dad’s job to do so.
@@DiZoSoMom that's what i thought so too. I actually felt bad for the kid, she lost everything just because of a manipulation from mommy. Just imagine what you wife had been doing with the child support payments if she's asking about her allowance? Maybe she's not getting any of it. If the new husband called you, maybe they are trying to get the car by themselves. Maybe the daughter actually needed help but instead help, her father left her and throw her.
