KIM Nam Gil is one of the best S.Korean actor I know. I first saw him in the historical drama series The Great Queen Seon Deok and I was immediately impressed. KNG can do different roles as hero or villain in sageuk, drama, action, suspense thriller, romance or comedy. I loved his performance in The Fiery Priest and Pirates. So happy that KNG got the 2022 Best Actor award.

I have started watching kdramas since last year and already I feel lucky to have found the most excellent actors who can be rated at the world level. Some of them are in this video. Kim Nam Gil and Namkoong Min are two of the best. Kim Myung Min and Cho Seung- Woo would be two more. Finally Lee Jun Gi is no less. But the four above top the set. I was expecting sharp intelligence and sensitivity as well as soft humble grounded character from Kim Nam Gil and Namkoong Min. Here in this video and elsewhere in 2023 award ceremony perhaps where Namkoong Min receives the grand award I found my expectations to be correct. They both are humble, cerebral, soft and understated like true gentlemen! Adorable! ❤
He deserved that award. He portray the character very well which means he did research on how the character will act on any situation. The drama felt so realistic. I have forensic and psychology background so I know that the drama feels so real. Good job to everyone involved 💯
I really admire Kim Nam Gil. I do search for all his dramas and watch it, esoecially Through The Darkness. He is such a good actor, so simple and humble. He is all worthy of his awards and I am really looking firward to a lot more of his dramas and performances. Way to go! 💞

I just finished through the darkness and he deserved the award, his acting is not over the top,simple yet convincing. I almost forgot he is just playing the role. I also like the fact that he acknowledged the villains in this drama, they did a good job. I hope they were not traumatized though. Finding him in 2023 is a bit late so i am searching all his works so i could catch up. KNG is definitely added on my oppa list. His voice is soo calming i could listen to him all day. Through The Darkness is a very brilliant drama. Maybe because it's based on true story, the plots is quite different compared to some fictional dramas about police catching the criminals. I can see how hard for the police to catch them. But because of that, it made me hurt so much..seeing so many victims died before they manage to catch the criminals 😭😭
