- Whitaker Point, also known as Hawksbill Crag, is one of the most photographed spots in the whole state of Arkansas. This photogenic area is an Arkansas outdoors icon, a heavily-visited hiking trail, and even the site of quite a few marriage proposals. We'll walk you through this 2.5-mile hike here, but for all the details, including a Google map and coordinates for the nearby waterfalls, visit our blog post here:

And if you want to know about Compton's Double Falls, just right down the same gravel road as Whitaker Point, check out that blog post (with video) here:

Beautiful! Retiring to the Ozarks this June- anxious to start hiking!
@extraart1 Congratulations! I just hope I get to retire one day! lol. And if I do, I hope it's in the Ozarks. Thanks for the comment!
Just found your channel and subscribed. Awesome video. Made this trip from Branson many years ago.
@propdoctor21564 wow, thank you! I appreciate the feedback and the sub! Hiking season is upon us, so I'll start having new hiking content coming up soon.
Nice Video! I did this hike back in March. I also made a weak attempt at going through the creek bed to try to get to Haley Falls, but wow, that's some rough sledding. I just got back on the trail and went to the Crag. I think you can get to Haley's through a break in the bluffline, but not sure exactly where. Maybe next time.
@chicken2jail Thanks! I assume you're talking about the BOTTOM of Haley Falls? Because the top is easy to get to. Either that, or my GPS lied, and I what I thought was Haley Falls was not it at all! lol. Both times I've been, it was so dry it wasn't worth looking for the way down.
Simply stunning scenery, this upload is just brilliant bud!
@ervinslens Wow, thank you! Nature did the heavy lifting on this one for sure. I appreciate the comment. Thanks for checking it out!
