Hey. these runners travel weekend videos are top notch. Not just because we are runners and would love to do what you are doing. But because they are professionally made and tell a nice story. They take us on a nice little 20 minute trip with you. You are very talented. Can't wait for Tokyo.
Thanks Tommie and Mike for being such a wonderful host on the Kofuzi Run Club shakeout run. My son and I enjoyed running with the club, and we will cherish this experience for many miles to come.
I thought that was you in corral D! Glad you came down and enjoyed the city and the race. I am local, year 16 doing the event and yeah, it was humid. Never had seen so many runner down with cramps before. Thats the thing with the race, the weather is unpredictable. Keep up the content, always enjoy your take and honesty
Thank you for coming to our city! Glad you enjoyed it! 🥰 I thought it was perfect cool day for racing being from Miami and always training in the heat. I did the full and got a PR 4:15. Can’t wait to do a marathon in good weather
Congrats on your P.R.! I live in Brevard County near the Cape. From July through mid October the phrase is " 80 by 8", meaning the temperature is 80F by 8:00 AM, and only gets hotter after that. During that time you start your long run based on finishing it by 8 AM. For afternoon runs the heat index is always 10F higher than the real temperature because of the ever present humidity. Every place in the country has its difficult times to run, for South and Central Florida the whole month of September sucks.
Absolute quality content ,loved it Kafuzi keep it up . Travelogue and running think you got a new niche there. Hope you do more of these and become the running Bourdain lol
Did not realize you were in Miami or had a shakeout run, would have joined if I knew ahead of time. Did a double take when I noticed a runner so resembling you from the back that compelled me to shout your name out, thanks for the wave! Let us know if you decide to come back and race again! You'll be done way before 8:00 am and have the entire day ahead of you.
Thank you for a very inspirational video! 😃 From a 49 year old jogger in Sweden who tries to get back on a healthy track. My goal is to be a runner again, and maybe I will feel strong enough to join a small race later this year.
Ran the Miami Half Marathon in January 93. A friend and myself actually came up from Cuba out of all places so Miami actually was cooler in January. Perfect running conditions if I remember correctly. We ran together so it wasn't a race pace overall but we still ran a 1:28 which we were happy with. It was a blast! Good memory. 🙂
anyone else see the roller skater bust her butt at 6:40 😂 😂 😂 i live on west ave in Miami beach, so close to all these fun get togethers! I wish i knew about them! i ran a 311 in the marathon which was disappointing because i wanted to break 3, but my fam was in town and we ate waaay to much the night before.. had a bad stomach and too many number 2 bathroom breaks! o well, i love the Miami marathon! 5 years straight going strong, here's to another 70! Great video MAN!
Ko,how do you manage family time and with running? Seems like you travel some time, and how to manage time with family after returning? You aspired to me lot.
Usually Celebration is cold (I've run it in the past) but it was warm this year. The Space Coast half / marathon this year was also hot with a starting temp of 70F.
Can I ask which hotel you stayed in? I’m thinking about doing this for next year but when I search for hotels near the start line, they are very expensive!!! 😮
Amazing recap/vlog! love the camera movement and shots - very cinematic . Next January come get the rest of the meat off that HM bone at the Austin 3M. If you check out my thumbnail for my recap it’s the elevation map and you can see it’s almost all downhill. 40-45 degree temps. It’s a blast and a fun PB friendly course point to point.
Love the video, it gives off such a great cultural vibe of the area. I love the song played around the 7:30 mark. Are you at liberty to say who sings that?
The roller blades at 6:40... we've all been there!!
I laughed! I thought I was the only one who saw that 🤣
I couldn’t stop laughing!
Whoa anyone else catch the roller skater at the 6:40 mark wiping out in the backround going over the rope backwards?
I only saw it on the fifth or sixth time I watched the video
OMG! 😂 hope they are ok!
@@Tommie_Runz landed on what i think is sand and leaves, im sure they are good
watch out watch out watch out 🤣
This got a literal LOL from me.
Love these weekend videos.
thank you. I love making them

thanks so much for the feedback!
Thanks Tommie and Mike for being such a wonderful host on the Kofuzi Run Club shakeout run. My son and I enjoyed running with the club, and we will cherish this experience for many miles to come.
That Take the Bridge run is like OSR in NYC, cool! Love the more underground running scenes that pop up
I've never been to an OSR event, but I would love to check it out
Had the time to watch from end to end now, another fun weekend! Thanks for sharing
LOL the “bag grab” closer. 😂
Thanks Kofuzi - love sharing these with my daughter (who runs on the opposite coast from me)!
These videos rock! Love it! Great job!
What are the green hokas you are wearing casually with the gum colored sole?
Those new Hoka's are looking super cool in that colorway!
LOVE LOVE LOVED this vlog! From the music to the art to the running to the rollerblader ☠️ to the pink luggage, so so good.
Great video ! Love it when you get together with Tommie !
6:40 You caught some dude in rollerblades completely wiping out in the background.
He looks alright so I don't feel too bad laughing about it 😂
This looked like fun. I think I may add this race for next year.

Such a great video capturing your whole experience 🙌🏽
Watching from the TM and pretending I'm outside with the TM fan being a tropical breeze! The Cuban music is spot on!
this was a really fun weekend

Love the runners weekend videos and looking forward to your thoughts on the new Hokas.
thanks for watching!
It was great seeing you at the TTB. That was a crazy race!
Ah these weekend videos are such a vibe. 😎
Definitely champagne coloured 😊👍🏻 Great recap, tnx.
The infamous pink suitcase! Thanks for that little nugget at the end. So funny!
6:43 amazing roller blading wipe out!
I miss warm weather 😭 keep being the king, Kofuzi!
Kofuzi stands for high quality content and videos!
Love that takes of the Hokas and asics metaspeed and the vaporflys.
DJ Kofuzi in the house!! Loving this soundtrack!
Absolute quality content ,loved it Kafuzi keep it up . Travelogue and running think you got a new niche there. Hope you do more of these and become the running Bourdain lol
Thanks for another amazing recap and bringing us to Miami! FYI your soundtracks are always 🔥 for these videos 🤜🤛
best running channel on TH-cam
@kofuzi, smart move not to put yourself in charge of navigation 😂
I'm training for a 5k, your videos really get me inspired to give my all on this running journey
Have a great race!
❤Boulder and great hookup with the serious runner and sage.
Really love these. Thanks!
Always look forward to your race weekend recaps
thanks Chris!
This was epic! Well done Kofuzi!! Lights were shining bright on the cop cars @ 16:42 👀 Also, that's a sweet lookin' medal as well!
I haven't seen a spinner medal in a while
Awesome. Gun starts in the Philippines are crazy early.
Great content, Mike. Miami actually looks like a cool spot to visit! And looking forward to the Hoka reviews.
Coming soon!
Im So glad you enjoyed our city. See you next year
That dude on roller blades eats it in the background soooo hard at 6:42!
Really nice video, thanks for sharing. The hoka shoes looked great, looking forward to hear your review
Another super fun runner's weekend video. I like how you're leaning into the rose gold/champagne luggage, Kofuzi :)
the camera makes it look more pink that it is 😉
The music is 👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾
Nice! The Pink “champagne” luggage we hear so much about!!
Tommie coincidentally has the exact same suitcase but in black
great video kofuzi! great finish
Excellent video kofuzi, can see why they start so early, looks like ridiculous heat, haha funny looking medal cool ☀️🌝🍀✅👣👊🏼😀🥳
Maurten gels wreck my gut. Glad they work for you. Overall, Cool video!
Did everyone miss the rollerblade guy/girl fall? 😂😂 around 6:50
Great b-roll footage filming the filming of the shoes. 😄
just wanted everyone to see how awkward it looks

Great video as always. I was wondering if you were here. I saw your running group on Lincoln road.🏃🏾💨
Thank you for your inspiring work 👍 What HOKA Sneakers did you wear?? Best wishes from Austria
lol rollerblader falling in the background 6:41
Didn’t realize you were in Miami. Recognized you on the boardwalk Saturday. Great video!
Always enjoy a good Kofuzi runners weekend recap. Love these videos! Are you going to the LA Marathon?
12:56 thought you were gonna say very small 😂 need 3 of those
You know I like the local cuisine spots you hit up on a runner's weekend
I'm still trying to figure out what is the right amount of food and eating I should include in these videos.
You are one run away from your 2000th run on Strava. Congrats and love your videos
Hi Kofuzi, great vid as always. in every how many KM did you take those Maurten gels and which KM did you take the CAF 100? Thanks
Ran the Full on this day, it was brutal with the head wind and heat, finished in 3:15. Fun event and well organized. I would recommend it to others.
that's a strong finish. impressive
6:40 some lady was rollerblading too hard🫣
Great run! and Great video Mike!😄
Thanks for watching!
@4:42 Ko, are you one of those runners who doesn't say hi back? 😆 Love the video!
One thing about kofuzi, you will get a quick ass turnaround for a video
I have a short attention span and like to move on to the next thing
Crystal Lake, Illinois... Is that the one referenced by Grandaddy on the Sophtware Slump?
Great content!!! But a little bit higher video quality (at least 1080p) would make it even better. Thanks Kofuzi!!! :)
stay tuned. TH-cam processes the video after upload. first, it releases 240p, there 480, then 720, then 1080, then 4k
Thank you for a very inspirational video! 😃

Hope you have great progress!
The rep from Runner's World is wearing the Rocket X2, I think? Funny, doesn't seem like a shakeout shoe.
Great video ko!
Great video! Thanks for coming too Miami to visit!!!! The weather is much better in the winter 😂
I'm pretty sure I wouldn't want to be here in the summer. I would wilt.
@@kofuzi yeah I definitely have to get my runs in the early morning once April hits
Idol Take Care Always I really love your content you are my inspiration.. That's why I Run now..
I ran in Celebration on the same day… the heat is a killer when we haven’t been training in the heat. Way to get out there and crush the race.
sounds perfect

Random thought... How about a video on how you pack for a runners weekend?
Ko,how do you manage family time and with running? Seems like you travel some time, and how to manage time with family after returning? You aspired to me lot.
I missed Miami last year due to injury but did the Celebration Half in Central Florida. The heat was no joke once the sun came out. Awesome running! 🤜
I felt a lot of sympathy for the marathon runners this weekend
Usually Celebration is cold (I've run it in the past) but it was warm this year. The Space Coast half / marathon this year was also hot with a starting temp of 70F.
@@David_T I’ve done Space coast a couple of times. The weather is always hit or miss. Awesome race though.
@@RunRowRideLiftTo your point, In 2021 it was about 55F and everybody lit it up. Beautiful run.
Sick video
super video 👍
Lol we gonna ignore the dude who completely ate it in 6:40 😂😂
You are so gonna love running in the tropical Southeast Asia 😂
This was so freakin epic!!! those trainers looked so damn hot aswell
Can I ask which hotel you stayed in? I’m thinking about doing this for next year but when I search for hotels near the start line, they are very expensive!!! 😮
I did the Miami 1/2 as well! 1:57 time for me. The heat was very difficult for me also! I trained in Ohio and it was so different but glad I did it!
great job!
My first half I did for my last training block was in 90 degrees / 90% humidity along the beach in August.... maybe not my best idea
Amazing recap/vlog! love the camera movement and shots - very cinematic . Next January come get the rest of the meat off that HM bone at the Austin 3M. thinking about it
Love the video, it gives off such a great cultural vibe of the area. I love the song played around the 7:30 mark. Are you at liberty to say who sings that?
I get all my music from Epidemic Sound
Yo, what’s going on!!! 👍🏼
Hope you had a chance to go to Little Havana.
Miami, the capitol of Latin America.
Nice content as always. Running in Miami heat sounds awful. How did the conditions compare to the heat in this years NYC Marathon.
NYC was actually bit worse. perhaps if NY could have also started at 6am, it would have been better.
OK, did anyone else catch the rollerblader at 6:41 falling over the rope in the background?
Thanks for another great weekend video! So, the new HOKA’s you wore for the race, are these something we will see this summer?
Yes. Sooner than summer, I think
@@kofuzi Great! Are you able to tell us the name? Were they previously announced at TRE?
I am so curious, why the 2 watches? Are they different models? If so which ones?sorry for the questions! So curious would love your feedback! Thanks
I use one so I don't have to carry a phone (music, podcasts, and text/phone ICE). the other is the watch I use to track my running
I remember I dm'd you on instagram asking you to come to the LOLA challenge in Puerto Rico! This entire video gave Kofuzi Puerto Rico vibes 🏖🏃
It’s been a while since I been to Puerto Rico. I could use some mofongo
dude that fell on blades lol
👏👏👏
Mike, what stabilisation settings do you use when it’s dark? My footage always comes out shaky no matter what! Thanks
I don’t change stabilization settings. But when it’s dark, I switch from my usual 4k120 to 1080p120
You definitely have a neck for making great videos. Keep it up bro.
thank you
